I'm sure many of us gave away or sold an old console, only to longingly stare at our TV sets, our fingers tapping imaginary buttons, wishing we could hear Mario's "It's-a me, Mario!" one last time.

So, yes, my worse sin was letting my cousins take my Nintendo 64 away, games and all. Then they moved away, out of the country, leaving me here, sad and lonely.
OMG very similar, i had to leave my 64 back in aus :( thats probably my biggest regret really.

Buying oblivion and fallout 3 for the 360 instead of the PC. Curse you xenu!!!
Could have been worse. You could have bought the PS3 versions of those games. Believe me 360 is better than the PS3 when it comes to Bethesdas games.
Nah its not the bugs. Im talking about the mods.

The mods make oblivion 3 and 4 times better same for fallout. but only pc gets them atm.

but yeah i heard about the GOTY edition for ps3. so many bugs

Being a "hardcore" gamer until I was 17.

What a waste of time, memory, and breath.

I backed up the industry so much, and in the most stupid, childish, and most unreasonable ways ever.

My biggest regret as a gamer.

buying the original Assassin's Creed

That game was so bad.

And Left 4 Dead. No fun when none of your friends have the game, and the only way to play is with dumbasses on the internet.

Getting a Wii.

Already stated...

I got the Orange Box for the PS3. Horrible, as there was no updates (the Demoman was so overpowered). I ended up selling it and getting the one on the PC.

Playing Fallout 3 I couldn't get into it and after I don't know maybe 10 hours I just returned it.

The months I spent playing Guild Wars trying to go top 100. It was fun when I was messing around in PvE and Heroes' Ascent.

After a while, i couldn't stand the scene. Too much effort, my blood pressure should never go up because of a game.

Selling games after I beat them. Do you know how many games I had to buy back later because I wanted to play them? At least 6 Tony Hawk games.

playing them all those countless years of my life instead of, say, learning to bang chicks
i think i'd rather be screwing someone than playing the force unleashed right now. ive lost a lot of time for learning other more useful things.

not buying Mechwarrior 4 when I had the chance... now I must wait for the re-release....

That and playing WoW, it was fun, sure, but it made sleeping hard

Needing money, I sold my copies of Way of the Samurai(1 AND 2), and Champions of Norrath.

Damn I miss them...

Wasting too much time on Runescape, actually there is sweet shit all else to do when you are 12.
The only other regret would be buying Halo 3 collectors edition. I liked the game and the tin looks cool. It's just a ***** to take the tin out of the sleeve, take the game out, get the game out of the tin and put the thin back in the sleeve so it doesn't get damaged.
It's no big deal.

Stupid purchases and wasting time. Dumb purchases like Alien vs Predator $60, WWE 08 $15, FAR CRY 2 $10, Lost Planet $30, Stranglehold $40, Batman: AA $60...the list goes on and on. And I think online gaming is ok, but wasting waaay to much time playing singleplayer is gay
