I didn't watch the video (I read a summary), but they didn't seem to address this. DA:O's every encounter was designed, it required strategy. DA2 just put in wave spawning to save time and cut corners and I feel that they will do it again.SajuukKhar said:-Fighting waves of enemies that magically appear out of nowhere
Yeah, if the internet isn't pleased by minor shifts away from terrible design decisions, what are they pleased by?The Pinray said:It's official, you absolutely cannot please the internet.
Bioware hasn't been too up on keeping promises of late.CardinalPiggles said:As long as they keep these promises mentioned in the video, I'll buy it.
*clap clap clap* Honestly if they announced a Multiplayer for DA3 I wouldn't be a bit surprised.Loop Stricken said:Red, blue, or green with multiplayer?Thoric485 said:-Decisions will have consequences
So it's a single Player version of Warcraft?SajuukKhar said:If you likeGibboniser said:So I liked DA1, DA2 worth picking up?
-Walking into the same cave 50 times
-Fighting waves of enemies that magically appear out of nowhere
-Fighting bosses that have 100000000000 hp
How's about, maybe, now bare with me here, it'll be a tough one, you ready? Sitting down? Alright, here goes . . . Progress? Moving in the right direction? Baby steps?Kahunaburger said:Yeah, if the internet isn't pleased by minor shifts away from terrible design decisions, what are they pleased by?The Pinray said:It's official, you absolutely cannot please the internet.
Basically, but I think I would prefer WoW.Seanfall said:So it's a single Player version of Warcraft?
Look at it from the internet's point of view - it really liked Dragon Age: Origins, really hated Dragon Age 2, and sees minor changes on the Dragon Age 2 formula as proceeding from the wrong starting point. The Pinray said:How's about, maybe, now bare with me here, it'll be a tough one, you ready? People are so easy to point out faults they completely ignore the positive.
I dunno, the internet seems pretty pleased with the Wasteland 2 news it's been getting. And Grimrock. The Pinray said:Like I said and is so readily exemplified: You cannot please the internet (By which I mean the gaming community of the internet, specifically).
This is probably true. But it's probably true because it's probably not going to be a good game. The Pinray said:Just watch. No matter how this game comes out. No matter what they do. It will be abhorred.
I suppose we'll just have to wait and see come release. BioWare's been in quite the negative spotlight recently (to put it lightly). This game could be the final nail in their proverbial coffin.Kahunaburger said:Sniptastic!
You never asked for this.Adam Jensen said:That was the most pathetic part of the whole panel. Jesus Christ how low they've sunk.Sangreal Gothcraft said:Wow, They are adding Character Armour and how it will appear :O, My gosh such inovation... and ohh they have stats that you can see on it toono stop it bioware, the inovation is simply to much!
Me too. At least we're getting pandas. What is DA3 getting? Hype that's about it.SajuukKhar said:Basically, but I think I would prefer WoW.Seanfall said:So it's a single Player version of Warcraft?
