Sadly, there's no way they're going to fix all the things-in fact, just looking at what's already been released, no chance. However, hypothetically:
-Fix the secondary weapons. Remember gaz in Cod4, saying that the point of a secondary weapon is so that you can switch to it faster than reloading? Not with shotguns. Secondary weapons should be pistols and knife only. Making it so that people can have a great long range weapon as well as the best pure CQB weapon in the game is ridiculous. Machine pistols are also too strong(particularly the Raffika, which is basically an M16 at close range) to be secondary weapons.
-Fix the perks. Personally, I'm against the "pro" perks. Well, or rather, some of them. I like the idea of upgradeable perks, but think the upgrades shouldn't be just giving you a second perk. The upgrades shouldn't be as good as they are. Stuff like no falling damage is almostngood enough that you could make it a seperate perk. Maybe even consider removing Stopping power. If that wasn't in the game, and there were a couple of the good perks there instead(scavenger and sleight of hand) so everyone didn't pick UAV jam...It'd be nice if there wasn't the sort of "default" class that we see. It'd also mean classes like stealth classes could compete a bit better head to head-though you're doing it kind of wrong if you need to.
Fix the killstreaks. I'd like to see a return of, at least, UAV being compulsory. I'd also like if stuff like the chopper wasn't in the game at all, and they were all controlled(like the airstrike). Helis can last a bit too long. I'd prefer one use stuff, that doens't harvest kills without the person doing anything.
Fix the balance. Snipers are probably the most obvious case here. I don't think gravity is the answer. BFBC2 players talk about how great it is, but having played BFBC2, I don't really think it'd make a difference in a Cod game. Most quickscopes are close range enough that it wouldn't matter. Removing SP would help here. They shouldn't fire as fast either(save the semi autos. This is more referring to Cod4, and the speed of the M40). Burst fire guns have always been a bit OP. They're really common on cod4 because they're such a fast kill, and not really harder than any other gun. A little practise is all it takes, like everything else. How difficult it is to use doesn't match how good it is, which it should. Removing SP would again solve this. I'm sort of in favour of slightly slower kills, since there's hardcore anyway. Pistols could maybe do with a bit of a nerf. In cod4, the desert eagle is a 2 hit kill with stopping power(again, removing would help). With a clip of 7(I think), and with it being easy to spam quickly, you can kill people with it pretty damn quickly, without actually aiming. I don't think secondaries should be very good, and think that to beat a guy with an assault rifle, you should have to be real good with a pistol-fast, and accurate.
-Fix the LAN. To my knowledge, in World at War, you can play splitscreen on one console. However, if you play over 2, you can still only paly 2 player. Being able to connect 2 consoles and play splitscreen on both for 4 player woudl be nice.
The list is large. And let's be frank, it's not going to happen.
And sadly, they can't fix the community, and that could really do with being better...
