I am absolutely sick of the media pouncing on absolutely everything that the games industry creates if it pushes the boundaries even slightly. Films portray things like this all the time, but as soon as it's in a game OH MY GOD HOW COULD YOU EVEN THINK ABOUT THAT.

WEll, the kid's riqht. Not everyone can be a soldier. One needs to be able to iqnore both common sense & human morality & decency & participate wholly in a delusion to be a soldier & that must certainly take a lot of traininq & brainwashinq huh now

anyway i still say that violence in video qames is so far distant from actual violence that it cannot even be called such i mean really if you have the simple mental faculties to differentiate reality from fantasy it should be easy but no some people insist on crazy

No, not everyone can be a soldier. There are a myriad of reasons why, but for starters you must pass a thorough medical examination. <--not everyone can pass that.
Then, you've got to successfully navigate basic training. <--not everyone can pass that.
etc, etc.
Now, not everyone can play basketball, either. I'm not saying soldiers are something more than human. I can't be an NFL player. I lack just about everything to it. Poor me.
Secondly, not everyone can deal with the emotional stress of battle. No matter what country you are in, a man bleeds and dies in the same way. Hearing about it, seeing videos of it on youtube isn't living through it. And no soldier, american or otherwise, is perfect.
Ignorance is thinking that interview has to do with gameplay. It has to do with the advertisement. And the advertisement was in poor taste.
*Sigh* Some people just done get it... I actually find it kinda sad someone watched this Ad so many times to come up with these points just to prove there a douche. For the sake of everyone who doesnt understand Blacks Ops is a game, it isnt real.
