Everyone IS gay for Bridget, after all. I find the backstory and story of BlazBlue to be much harder to follow than the Guilty Gear games, myself.Mr Pantomime said:You know whats great about bLAZBLUE? Its just like Guilty Gear, without the huge backstory. I can playing, remark that some chick is attractive, without being told its actually a dude.
There are three 'badass cops' (more like solders) Jin 'generic anime pretty-boy with a sword' Noel 'that girl with the guns from Melty Blood' (note: creators liked Melty Blood) And Tsubaki who someone recomended two you already.DrEmo said:In Blazblue, I found a few characters I thought I could play as, but for personal reasons, I didn't want to play as any of them. Would I like to play as the generic anime pretty-boy with a sword? What about the generic anime pretty-boy with white hair and a dark past? What about the generic lolita goth who looks like she robbed a Hot Topic store? The catgirl? The androgynous little kid with a puppet or that girl with the guns from Melty Blood? None. I didn't want to play as any of these. I asked myself "Where are all the cool characters!? Where are the badass cops? Where are the robots, the kangaroos or the American stereotypes?" So I settled for the ninja guy, who was designed by someone who has been watching too much Naruto. Yes, the only tolerable character, is a Naruto reject
I don't. The only Street Fighter I can stand these days is SF3, but I don't usually bring that up.mikev7.0 said:Wow. People who like fighting games hate Street Fighter?? The literal Mother of fighting games?? If it's not to your tastes, that's fine, but why bother hating it? Just don't waste your own energy on it.
Makers of Guilty Gear lost the rights to Guilty Gear made Blaz Blue. Pretty interesting back stories that they gave the characters. Fighting is easy to get into and has a decent learning curve. Only reason I don't really play it is because I am not very good at fighting games. Other than that its pretty good for a fighting game.DrEmo said:*SNIP*
Nope, they fixed that, they even have a very funny ingame segment to tell you all about itmireko said:Honestly, the only thing that annoyed me about BlazBlue was the Xbox's frustrating D-pad. And they have giant cat-umbrellas at Hot Topic?
Actually, the only thing that I can fault the game for is that to get 100% completion you need to win and lose every story mode fight. It's just kind of unnecessary. Is it the same in Continuum Shift?
That's why I use the analog stick on my controller. Works wonders for me. I've never been able to use a D-pad in a fighting game.mireko said:Honestly, the only thing that annoyed me about BlazBlue was the Xbox's frustrating D-pad.
Cool, in that case I might have to get ahold of it.Dreiko said:Nope, they fixed that, they even have a very funny ingame segment to tell you all about it.
Actually havent played Blazblue yet. Ill probably pick it up tomorrow. I just havent had the time because my PS3, strangely, had too many gamesRedEyesBlackGamer said:Everyone IS gay for Bridget, after all.
