Kage heard Brad calling out to the rest of them that it was time to head out, but when Kage looked over his shoulder, it seemed like Brad wasn't willing to wait either. The gateway that looked...somewhat like the seikeimon but still different, was open and people were already walking through it. In fact when he turned back around Ken was gathering his spirit as well and making ready to head out.
"You should probably Get Gleam too Kage, God knows she's a psycho *****, but if anyone knows how to kill stuff, its her." Ken told Kage.
Kage gave a nod of acknowledgement and gathered his will. He'd almost managed to forget she was over there, but now that it was time to leave he had to go face her one more time. And this time, he had to force her back into her sealed form. THis was something he might not be able to even do.
Disappearing in an instant and flash stepping across the room, he reappeared in front of Gleam, still bound in the extensive bakudo net. Her face was a twisted mixture of malice and boredom from being caged as she was.
"So, time to go then, I heard. Guess that means you have to let me out." She said, her voice hiding the smallest amount of a sneer.
"That's right, it's time for you to go back into your sealed form. Now are we going to do this the easy way, or the hard way?" Kage asked, folding his arms over his chest. The two of them locked their eyes together in a staring match, each one trying to bore into the others will and force them to submit.
"Like I would make anything easy for you. You can't seal me without my willingness to go, and I don't will it." She told him flatly. Her eyes burned into his as he stared at her. HIs fingers curled into a fist as small arcs of electricity started to cross over his knuckles. He warned her, and she didn't heed his warnings.
"I told you, you *****, you will do as I say, and I say to GO BACK TO YOUR HOLE!" Kage yelled out as he pulled back to take a full swing at her. Just then though, something grabbed his arm. Looking up, it was Tessai.
"Wh...why'd you stop me?" Kage asked, bewildered that he'd interfered. Tessai didn't answer him, but instead just shook his head. He let go of his arm and turned his eyes on the drider spirit. Gleams expression immediately shifted from predatory to fear.
"This isn't fair." She spat at him as he lifted a finger. Reaching out, he touched her with the tip of his finger, a small point of light showing on her belly where he touched her. Her sneer remained as her skin darkened, changing from flesh to thread. Her whole body turned black, writhing with the movement of uncountable strands of black cord before they unraveled, as if untying from the massive knot that was her body and being sucked back into the blade. As her body collapsed the bakudo did as well, the golden strands of energy shattering into a million points of light and then flickering out. when all was said and done, Kages straight blade lay on the ground.
"How...did you do that?" Kage asked, picking up his zanpakuto and inspecting it, before looking back up at Tessai. Tessai laid a hand on his shoulder and held him there for a moment.
"If you join the kido corps, you will learn every kido that is known. There are still spells out there though that are not known to them. You will have to look for them yourself." Tessai told him before lettng go. Kage gave a nod and sheathed his blade before running over to the gateway. Everyone else was going through, he had to make it in before it closed. Without hesitation, he jumped through it, landing on the other side in the silver sand and sinking in a bit from the jump. He gave one look behind him and took a deep breath. Now it was time to get back to work.
