Well crap, I meant to have a post up before now. Oh well, School got in the way.
Brandon panted as he slid his sowrds back into their scabbards, it had been a long three days but he had done it.

Yes, yes we're all proud of you, you finnaly reached it and learned how to use it. congratu-friken-lations! The voice of the red half of Ryu said in his mind. He had not been happy he found out how to beat him,

Now, now. You made a deal, he beat us fair and square. The blue half popped in.

Shut yer yap, blue boy! I'm not in the mood to listen to your self rightous crap right now. The red snapped.

It dosn't matter, You know I can just as easily beat you in a fight my hot tempered brother. The blue shot back in a smug tone.

Both of you enough! I thank you for helping me reach Bankai, but now we have a job to do and I can't help if you two are constently bickering in my head! Brandon thought interrupting.

Ohhhh so sorry. Wouldn't want to give you a headache, master. The red thought sarcasticly.I don't give a shit what you humans are doing, so long As I get to kill something I'll be happy, and right now I'm having a bit of withdrawl. So go kill something already dammit!

Brandon chuckled at the reds order. "Very well." He said as he began walking back to where Brad had been waiting. He arrived shortly after he heard Brad annoucned it was time to go.

"Geez, the guy can't wait three days? Maybe a little longer to let us rest? Ah well, time to go nonetheless." He said stepping theorugh the gate with a smile and a nod of thanks to Urahara.

He stepped onto the grey barren waste land behind Brad and looked around with a hand on his blade. "So this is Hueco Mundo huh? Roomie, if nothing else. Sure add a lamp or two, maybe a nice coffe table and the place wouldn't look half bad." He said looking around the dead world.

It seemed that no sooner that Risa managed to conquer her spirit, it was time to leave.

Rejoining the others, the cautiously stepped through the portal into Heuco Mundo, taking in her surroundings cautiously.

Like many Soul Reapers, she had only heard of this place, but had never actually set foot in the world of Hollows.

Well, there's no turning back now...! She thought, and boldly began her journey through this dark, forboding new world.

Jason sat panting when Brad called for them to go. He recalled Ryūsei and trailed after the others. He jumped through the portal quickly, landing a few feet away from the others in a small cloud of dirt and sand. He looked around quickly, but saw no Hollows which was said to be quite unusual for this place.

"Brad? Were the hell are all the Hollows?" Jason asked hesitantly, not knowing if he really wanted to hear an answer.

Jason kept his hand on Ryūsei, while keeping alert.

Brandon turned towards the women who stepped through the portal, a surprised look on his face. "Oh! Hello Miss, It seems we haven't been introduced, and since your not trying to kill us I assume we're on the same side. Brandon Hirosh, 5th seat of squad five, at your service." He said with a small bow towards Risa. "You must have showen up during the bankai training, sorry I wasn't able to introduce me self then, but Tsuninhitsu Ryu wouldn't let me get away." He said touching theyelow hilt of one of his swords.

"Well, its better than nothing I guess, ken replied to kage.

"Guys, time to go!" Brad called out over the training room.

Ken turned towards the source of the sound, "It's about damn time! Ryukiba! I'm sorry to say this, but its time to go!" Ken called to his partner who was still in the water.

Ryukiba got out of the pool. "That makes me sad Ken, We hardly got to spend any time together and its already time to go back in the sword." Ryukiba frowned. "Just don't take too long before we play again, alright ken?"

Ken walked over to Ryukiba and rubbed him behind his ears. Ryukiba's tail beat the ground as Ken rubbed his favorite spot. Ryukiba shined brightly and reverted back to his sword hilt form. Ken walked over and picked up his Zanpakuto.

"You should probably Get Gleam too Kage, God knows she's a psycho *****, but if anyone knows how to kill stuff, its her." Ken told Kage.

He slipped Ryukiba into his robes and wind jumped to the portal. He noticed Brad had already left through the portal and quickly Passed through. He landed in the sand next to them and observed the surroundings. "Jeeze, A little green wouldn't kill the hollows, where the hell are all the trees?"

Aoshi calmly walked through the portal having enjoyed the brief training and respite. Glancing around he noticed two distinct things, the lack of hollows in their homeworld and the silver sand. I suppose it would be fitting for the hollows to call a desert home but I question the color. "I expected more hollows even if they were only low level. They must have a fairly low population. Either that or this place is bigger then we thought."

Kage heard Brad calling out to the rest of them that it was time to head out, but when Kage looked over his shoulder, it seemed like Brad wasn't willing to wait either. The gateway that looked...somewhat like the seikeimon but still different, was open and people were already walking through it. In fact when he turned back around Ken was gathering his spirit as well and making ready to head out.

"You should probably Get Gleam too Kage, God knows she's a psycho *****, but if anyone knows how to kill stuff, its her." Ken told Kage.

Kage gave a nod of acknowledgement and gathered his will. He'd almost managed to forget she was over there, but now that it was time to leave he had to go face her one more time. And this time, he had to force her back into her sealed form. THis was something he might not be able to even do.

Disappearing in an instant and flash stepping across the room, he reappeared in front of Gleam, still bound in the extensive bakudo net. Her face was a twisted mixture of malice and boredom from being caged as she was.

"So, time to go then, I heard. Guess that means you have to let me out." She said, her voice hiding the smallest amount of a sneer.

"That's right, it's time for you to go back into your sealed form. Now are we going to do this the easy way, or the hard way?" Kage asked, folding his arms over his chest. The two of them locked their eyes together in a staring match, each one trying to bore into the others will and force them to submit.

"Like I would make anything easy for you. You can't seal me without my willingness to go, and I don't will it." She told him flatly. Her eyes burned into his as he stared at her. HIs fingers curled into a fist as small arcs of electricity started to cross over his knuckles. He warned her, and she didn't heed his warnings.

"I told you, you *****, you will do as I say, and I say to GO BACK TO YOUR HOLE!" Kage yelled out as he pulled back to take a full swing at her. Just then though, something grabbed his arm. Looking up, it was Tessai.

"Wh...why'd you stop me?" Kage asked, bewildered that he'd interfered. Tessai didn't answer him, but instead just shook his head. He let go of his arm and turned his eyes on the drider spirit. Gleams expression immediately shifted from predatory to fear.

"This isn't fair." She spat at him as he lifted a finger. Reaching out, he touched her with the tip of his finger, a small point of light showing on her belly where he touched her. Her sneer remained as her skin darkened, changing from flesh to thread. Her whole body turned black, writhing with the movement of uncountable strands of black cord before they unraveled, as if untying from the massive knot that was her body and being sucked back into the blade. As her body collapsed the bakudo did as well, the golden strands of energy shattering into a million points of light and then flickering out. when all was said and done, Kages straight blade lay on the ground.

"How...did you do that?" Kage asked, picking up his zanpakuto and inspecting it, before looking back up at Tessai. Tessai laid a hand on his shoulder and held him there for a moment.

"If you join the kido corps, you will learn every kido that is known. There are still spells out there though that are not known to them. You will have to look for them yourself." Tessai told him before lettng go. Kage gave a nod and sheathed his blade before running over to the gateway. Everyone else was going through, he had to make it in before it closed. Without hesitation, he jumped through it, landing on the other side in the silver sand and sinking in a bit from the jump. He gave one look behind him and took a deep breath. Now it was time to get back to work.

"Lets get out of here before..." Before Brad could complete his words, A humanoid hollow with a dog like mask popped out of the sand.

"Oh shit..." Brad said, douging out of the way as he smacked the ground with his many hands.

Brad drew Izanagi as the Hollow let out a howl, summoning 5 Menos Grande class hollows.

"This just gets better and better doesent it..." Brad sighed, douging the dog hollow's attack again.

"This must be one of those Adjuchas class hollows that can summon other hollows..." Brad muttered.

"Guys, what do you want to do, fight or run?" Brad said, knowing his friends might want to try there new powers.

"GHRA!" The hollow snorted as Brad was forced to block his 2nd set of blade like arms.

"Shine light upon the truth Izanagi!" He was forced to yell as he blocked the attack.

"You will not get out of here alive soul reaper!" The hollow chuckled.

"Bring it on!" Brad yelled, using Sho to push him back.

Risa gulped, watching the Hollow approaching the group. At first she took a nervous step back, but then steeled herself for the upcoming fight.

No. I'm not going to turn back now. Not after all that training. She thought to herself.

Raising her weapon high, she shouted, "Here we go! Sound out, Suzutakanari!"

Jason didn't want to release his zanpakuto, but he guessed he would need to in order to kill these guys quickly. He sighed, and mumbled under his breat, "Lash out Ryūsei..." Jason's zanpakuto burst into flames, and lashed outward at the nearest Menos Grande.

Ryūsei wound its way up the Hollow's body, and began to slowly crush its opponent. The hollow let out a screech that would chill anyone to the bone, but he simply yanked backwards so that the Hollow burst into powder and drifted away.

Either these things are weaker than I remembered, or I'm getting stronger... Jason said, bringing his Zanpakuto back and letting it change into its released blade form. He rested that on his shoulder and looked to the others, hoping that he wouldn't need to fight anymore of these. Just killing that one had taken some of his energy, and if he used any more energy he wouldn't be able to help with the larger groups of Hollow.

Not even five minutes into hollow territory and they were already on them. It was an ominous start to the long trip ahead of them. It was a dog-like hollow, but its roar summoned more, and these were big.

"Oh not good." Kage said already as Brad engaged the first one. He heard him yelling out ahead of the group whether they wanted to fight or run, and while everyone else released their shikai, everything about this seemed like a bad idea.

"I vote RUN!" Kage said, flash stepping up to Brads side. He skipped drawing his zanpakuto as he thrust both his hands forward after Brad's hado, copying it two fold.

"SHO!" Kage yelled out as he released a hado from each hand, compounding the force upon that one hollow and throwing it away. The hollow tumbled and skipped over the sand as Kage adopted an unarmed combat stance.

"Brad, we can't. THese hollows are big, and they're strong. DOn't forget the mission. These are not the targets and will only serve to slow us down and weaken us." Kage explained to him. Diversionary and stalling tactics were something he was well trained in, though it was something that the rest of the group would likely be ignorant of. The near accident with the cleaner, and baited hollow, were all evidence that someone had knowledge of their cell and their mission. THe orchastrator of these events knew they were coming, and was likely the reason there was a hollow scout waiting for them when they came in.

"We don't have the luxary of resting now, we have to be as quick as possible. I can stall them for just a moment as the rest of you pass, but it's your call. If you want to pass them, the rest of you need to move together and hurry." Kate told him as the rest of the hollows advanced on them. This wasn't the time for a conversation, but rushing ahead without a plan was suicide at this point. Their target had planned his moves out, they needed to do the same thing.

"EVERYONE! RETREAT!" Brad yelled, pulling a flash bomb from his pocket and throwing it agenst the ground.

"RUN!" Brad yelled, dashing off words a forest nearby.

"LETS MOVE!"

"Ah shit!" Brandon said dashing after Brad. He hated to run from a Hollow, but anyone needed to know when, where, and with who to pick a fight. This was one time a.....tactical retreat....was needed.

"Ya know, if this is what we have to look forward too in this place, we may have to sleep a hour or so at a time." He said to Brad as they ran.

Jason looked back to see Brad and the others begin a quick sprint to a nearby forest. Jason couldn't move, he was too busy keeping a Menos Grande from squishing him underneath an enormous hand which seemed intent on crushing him. The only thing Jason could do was run, which he didn't like doing. He swung his blade quickly, slicing clean through the hand which also disappeared before using his Flash Step to appear beside Brad.

"Those trees probably wont give us the cover your hoping for Brad..." Jason said, turning back to look at the Menos.

"Awww! Dammit! I didn't even get to have any fun!" Ken whined as he saw brad drop the flash bomb. Ken readied his wind jump and blasted off after the group.

Risa had been fighting off the aproaching Hollows when Brad called for a retreat.

Glancing at her opponents for a moment, she hit them with a final blast of sound then took off after the rest, hearing the angry roars of the Hollows behind her, angry to have been cheated of their meal.

Kage shielded his eyes when Brad threw the bomb. Not even realising it was a flash bomb when he threw it, he had enough sense to know it was a bomb and turned away as much as he could before it could go off. One brilliant flash later, the rest of the group was retreating and the hollows were disoriented. This was the only shot they had.

The others moved on ahead and Kage brought up the rear. Brad was the first to move, heading for a small forest in the leads. With Brad in front and Kage in back, together they had the group covered. Lingering only long enough for the rest of the group to move, Kage began to run for it. In order to conserve his energy, he avoided using his shunpo; while one shunpo here and there wouldn't kill him, they would be a burden later on. Tessai was right, he needed to learn how to conserve his energy.

No one else was as conservative though. The rest flash stepped ahead with the exception of Ken who took off through the air. A foolish move as far as Kage was concerned. Leaping into the air like that only served to make him a bigger target, but they would deal with that if it came to it. His feel sunk into the sand with every step making running difficult though he kept up enough speed to keep the group in sight. If there was an ambush, he could be tehre in an instant. The roaring behind him told him that the hollows had recovered and were advancing once more. The time they had to escape was gone, and so was the option of running. Now they had to hide.

Before he reached the edge of the forest, Kage focused himself for one kido spell.

"Kyokko!" He said out loud, the image of his body wavering as the pale light bend around him. HIs form disappeared just as he entered the forest, keeping an eye on which way everyone headed so he could do a headcount. The hollows, watching him disappearing before their eyes, slowed down their pace and eventually gave up the chase, looking around lost for the shinigami.

Kage, on the other hand, was still watching everyone else. Marking Brad he used a bit of reiatsu to boost strength, leaping through the air similar to Ken's jump. He landed hard, though still invisable to the naked eye as he walked up behind Brad.

"I think we all made it, no casualties." He said, though he didn't dispel the bakudo just yet.

Aoshi shunpoed in behind the group having shielded his eyes upon the dropping of the bomb. I suppose it;s to be expected. Hollows in the hollow world who would have thunk it? Any child with cognitive ability perhaps. No one asked you! Dropping into a crouch, he checked himself over for damages and satisfied with his condition, he shifted his glance to those around him. "That was a good smoke bomb their Brad, nice thinking. Who knows how many would have shown up had we killed them."

"You got a point Aoshi, and thanks Kage, good work." He said, looking at the forest.

"It looks like this place has some reshi of its own in there, we should hide in there for a while, get away from those things." he said, looking to the group.

"Ok, lets move people, we need to keep moving."
