The Bartimaeus Trilogy is the best Trilogy I have read EVER!!!!!!!
You, sir, are a god among men.

EDIT: Double post, sorry.
Thanks, but I am only a human unfortunately.

Cannot wait for the fourth book BTW, so In October it's no longer going to be a Trilogy, it's going to be a Quadrology!

almost no one knows Serial Experiments Lain or Boogie Pop Phantom...
Seen and own both of those, Lain has to be one of my all time favourite shows. Boogie Pop is fun but a tad to depressing to watch too often.

Lain is my most favorite of all time evar...

me too I own both Lain box sets and the VHS tapes and I just got Boogie Pop last week, 2 day shipping my ass...
I love Lain, I had to watch the entire series in one day, I couldn't wait.

Book= the graphic novel Watchmen, heaps of people I know have seen the movie but it seems none made the effort to read the book.
Seriously? Watchmen? I've got great news for you, it actually sells pretty well. You're not the only person who's read it, far from it.

I am fairly certain that I'm the only person to have read, or even heard of, the How To Train Your Dragon books.

The Abhorsen Chronicles written by Garth Nix

No one I have ever met has heard of these. Very good books.

Childhood's End, "Flow my Tears," The Policeman Said. If anyone could tell me what these are without looking them up, I'll (MS) Paint you something.
I've read Childhood's End. Had to do a report on it in English (by my choice). I've got to laugh at the fact that I expected the aliens (I can't for the life of me remember the name, sadly) to be the villains (though there aren't any villains). Sad book.

Then there are the shorts by H. P. Lovecraft. Just seems like absolutely nobody has ever heard of him, let alone read any of his books and stories. I only actually know of one or two who have.

Games, then there's the Touhou series. I've heard many people online who play them (gee, go figure), but nobody I know who has. Guess this doesn't really count though.

Has anyone else played Rampage Universal Tour? It's one I don't ever hear much about even though it is fun.
Yea man, that game was awesome!

What about the movie 'Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid'
Aww some great lines only Steve Martin could deliver.

Didn't they make a film of that.
Yes, but the books are completely different. The movie was basically fan fiction. Don't get me wrong, it's a great movie, but as a fan of the books, I was fairly disappointed the second I saw the trailer. "Around here, fighting dragons is everything." Mmm. No, not really. Not until... well, I don't want to give away the story.

Everyone knows about the movie, but I only know one person who read the books other than myself.

I'm convinced I'm the only one who loved the Pendragon series of books as a kid. I'm also pretty sure no one else played Prey.
I did play Prey.
Also another game I have rarely seen someone play is:

[HEADING=1]The Void[/HEADING]

Best game I have ever played, and the only game I can SERIOUSLY say it's an art game gem.

Mine would be the book Momo by Michael Ende. Anyone who can get hold of a copy really should as it's the best book I've ever read. The Neverending Story as well. I watched the first two films I think before reading the book and I can easily say that the book is vastly superior.
