Although I understand your opinion, I believe that as two very seperate mediums, they are almost impossible to fuse together in a coherent way. If you are ging to be cmpletely faithful to a book in the adaptation process, the game would lack a certain entertainment quality, and if you made changes, The game may become too contrasted to the book. Then there is the problem of subjective interpretation. Someone will always be left unsatisfied.Slash Dementia said:True enough, but don't you ever just wonder how a book you like would be played as a game? What ever book you say, is most likely not going to be made. It's just how you would like a certain book to be played if it were a game.aperpheldy said:I WOULD say a book, but as we learn from film and game cross overs, THEY DON'T WORK. I am too afraid my favorite books would be burnt before my eyes. keep them seperate please!
Hell, I would be happy with just a free roam world from the books I mentioned, just to see them.
Yes. Same for Druss, Waylander or CulainCabamacadaf said:It would be awesome to play as Tenaka. (I have only read the two first books)ThreeWords said:All the books by David Gemmell. One problem would be that since all the characters are so awesome, the difficulty would either be stuck at insanely hard or insanely easy
See Amercian McGee's alice. It isn't really like the book but it is (fucking) awesome.Geek@Heart said:Alice in Wonderland.
I haven't read it, it just seems like the sort of thing that could be really interesting as a game.
The court intrigues, assasin's missions and opens battles would be a good balanced. Also Fitz's gap between the two trilogies could be interesting, make something more out of his trip to bingtown.rdaleric said:the assassin and fool books by robin hobb
And Gotrek and Felix too. Slaying hordes of every type of enemy would be an endless stream of happy moments.Christemo said:this would be like next gen GoW, just more violent:
The Tales of Malus Darkblade 1-5.
oh, Gotrek and Felix would be good too.
