Shodan of System Shock 2. She's always interesting to listen to and her insults are more of a "raawr" kind than really hurting or frightening.

Okay, they weren't really a boss... but killing the dark brotherhood in Oblivion was HORRIBLE!
I really liked those guys. D:

I once had a boss who I strangled after hearing that I would be expected to put in unpaid overtime an entire weekend.

Later I had heard that it was actually an order that he had had nothing to do with, he was just the messenger. It was all a shame, because he was a pretty cool guy, and his replacement was a total tool.

I still feel bad about that.

Thaddius in Naxxrammas, The things he shouts about how "now it's our turn to feel the pain" made me feel so sorry for him.

The Boss in MGS3.

Even sadder when you find out why she wanted you to kill her.
Ninja'd. One of the few times I actually had trouble pulling the trigger.
Yeah i had trouble shooting her too...
Until she grabbed me, broke my elbows and tore my gun down to it's component parts, then she deserved it. XD

I don't know about enemies, but I remember totally crying when E-102 Gamma died in Sonic Adventure. I was, like, 8 years old. That was the first time I really realized that I'm going to die someday.

Kato in Shadow Hearts Covenant. Cos he is basically a good guy and you can kind of see where he is coming from.
Kreia, because she is instrumental in spurring you on to be who you are to be strong enough to beat her.

the monitor from halo 3...

he only wanted to protect his ring *sniffle*

And even though you don't kill him,
i felt sorry for killer Croc on Arkham Asylum when he falls down the hole you blow in the floor =\

Not a large boss fight but one of the Big Daddies in Bioshock 2. Killed him, stole his little sister and then I listened to an audio log and learned he was her real father. I felt like a bastard after that one.
YOU MONSTER!!!! how could you!!! i mean really! just because you wanted better plasmids, you kill her father!

hehe joking ^_^

Jecht
from FF-X

He had to die, but he didn't really have a choice in the matter.

Having to kill Zelo's to get Kratos back in the party. The scene is so depressing that I can never do through with it, I'll always go back to the scene in Flanoir just to keep Zelo's

I did not really enjoy killing Irving and his sister, sure the guy was a tad extreme but he truly meant well and his plan worked to boot.

He technically wasn't a boss but Andrew Ryan in Bioshock. Sure he was a major dickhead but still I felt a little sympathy while I was clubing him to death with his putter. Atlas, aka Fontaine, on the other hand well, F*** him.
