Yeah, 'try' is probably a better inclusion...trying to keep a wheelbarrow steady can be a challenge at the best of times.PunkRex said:Hell you can drive a wheel-barrow when drunk... or at least try.

Whilst I think this is sensible and effective advice for the Marine corps, and can see the parallels between the situations, I think it cannot be smoothly implemented amongst civies.FrossetMareritt said:----
I will say that this reminded me of what all my C.O.s use say about your buddy being drunk (since you shouldn't be going out in town by yourself in a foreign country - power in numbers idea) "If the Marine you signed out on liberty gets in trouble and you did nothing to stop end then you're in just as much **** as he is. So if your buddy gets drunk and starts acting a fool, knock him the **** out and drag his *** home; he'll thank you later."
His mother was driving drunk, should she be charged with attempted murder as well?Hawkeye16 said:If his aim was better(or worse) he could have killed her. Charge him with attempted murder.
Great idea that, the fines for DUI and the loss of license would have been great for his family. But if she was a single mother, at least he wouldn't have had to deal with it any more, once CPS caught wind they would take all the kids away so she could go to jail.Broken Blade said:Well, first thought is that video games will be blamed for this pretty quickly. Second thought is that the boy should have called 911 with his mother's license plate and reported the DUI. That would have been the far more sensible and responsible thing to do. Kudos for the boy's initial attempts to prevent her from driving, but nega-kudos for the knife throw.
