All I can say is that if it doesn't have an Epic Battle set to Holy Wars or a saving-from-the-gallows scene set to Hallowed Be Thy Name, I'll be severely disappointed. But then, I'll be even more dissapointed if there is no Iron Maiden and Megadeth.

I would be disappointed if there will be no Madonna music in the game. But in regards to Maiden it all comes down to licencing.

Why would anyone be disappointed if there was less Madonna music in the world? And since when has Maiden or Megadeth been a problem with Licensing?

No idea if it ever had. But Double Fine doesnt have unlimited amounts of cash in their budget.

Imagine running around killing things to the sweet sweet tones of Hung up or Like a Prayer? Bliss i say.

Where did you get the Guitar Hero/RTS's ideas from? I havent managed to find anything about gameplay.

As long as it is easier then the final level of Psychonauts i am completely fine with any gameplay design choice what so ever.

And yes, the game seems to have some strategy elements but I'd guess they're more along the lines of a simpler Kingdom Under Fire thang. Console action strategy.

Speaking of Tim Schaffuer(forgive spelling) Does anyone here think that if this game is a dud in the marketplace that Double Fine will go out of Business(Like Interplay and Troika(again forgive spelling)?

Maybe. Hopefully BL will sell better than Psychonauts through better exposure (like a cover story on Game Informer), and hopefully just cuz it's an awesome game as well.

I wonder if Double Fine is making money from Psychonauts downloaded from X-Box Live?
