I fucking LOVED Digimon, it was the darker alternative to Pokemon. (Till the damn 5th season, DAMN YOU KID-FRIENDLY PROGRAMING!)

You, my good friend, were kickass the second you started quoting Calumon. It helps that my favorite season was the 3rd season of Digimon.

So, yeah, fuckin' A dude. Just do what you're doin', I have no problem with it. Wish I had the balls to do that.

EDIT: Though, now that I remember, I did have this thing where I would change my avatar every 1000 or so posts. It got a bit big, so I held a contest to see who would have the better idea of a new one. It was moderately successful, then I tried again after another 1000 posts and everyone went antsy-pantsy on me so I stopped.

Eh, should really change it now, got to think of something.

I always thought Calumon was adorable, and you're not breaking any rules, so I never really minded. I thought it was pretty neat.

At least Calumon has more of a vocabulary than Star Platinum.

This was an awesome story, great job. You should really consider regularly going ing to the RP section if you can churn out this kind of quality. Thanks for the explanation, I just kind of accepted it as "Oh, that's cool. His avatar is talking."

I'm surprised that more people don't find this to be irritating. I mean, I have no problem with role-playing, but doing it constantly is annoying. We have a specific section of the boards for role-playing, and that is where it should stay. I mean, if we all did what you were doing everyone would get sick of it. To me it's not any less irritating just because only one person is doing it. I don't find it to be clever or entertaining. Just bothersome.

But I guess that's just my opinion.

I'm not diminishing your opinion, but it's hardly a constant role-playing thing. It's one line he puts at the bottom of his posts. Yeah, if everything was as Calumon it would be irritating, or if more people stole his shtick it would definitely be, but it's just for fun. To each, his own.

It is constant role-playing. He will always put in a line for Calumon, even in threads where doing such a thing is completley unnecessary and inappropriate. He does it so much that it has lost it's charm and just irritates me. If he didn't do it in every post It probably wouldn't bother me at all. But right now it seems like he feels obligated to insert Calumon into every post, regardless of whether or not the Calumon comment will actually add anything good to the thread.

If the Calumon parts were longer than I could see it getting quite annoying, however the once sentence blurb that you have right now are perfect and normally inject a good amount of humor into the thread.
