I would release the cure at $100 a piece. It's cheap, much cheaper than chemotherapy, and for the average person that's just about half a week's pay, if not less.
Half a weeks pay? Where are you living?

That's closer to half a day's pay for middle class round these parts. This isn't even a real city, go into a real city and your average household income goes up to somewhere in the neighborhood of $65,000.

Hell the guy's that pick apples are pulling in between $100 and $150 a day this year due to a worker shortage.

Laugh? I don't really know what I'd do.

I'd probably just question how in the hell I found the cure despite there's scientists working round the clock with millions (if not billions) of dollars funding their research.

I'd slap each of those scientists I guess.. then demand they each give me money.

I'd give the cure away for free after that.

It's a noble goal, to cure cancer, but if I was going to magic something to happen I would probably magic clean drinking water and food to the parts of the work that don't have it instead. Cancer can wait in line.

Yeah... everybody gets cured of cancer, I become famed as the most noted man in medicine since Fleming. Spend rest of life utilising fame to the maximum, simple as that. I found the cure to all cancer, I can do whatever the heck I want. It would be relatively unreasonable to criticise the man who saved thousands of lives, it would be quite difficult to turn down the man who rid one of humanity's worst ailments. I'd be having a good time until I died. Even then my name would still be plastered over the history books.

Hello operator? Yes, I'd like a ticket to 1983...

What about 1984?

What? You can only go as far as 1988?!

I'll take it.

EDIT: Images are blocked? Dang.

My thougts exactly.
Then I'd go for Alzheimers, and after that I'd develop fusion power.

Also, warp drive.

I'm pretty sure there have been a couple reliable cures for cancer already, they just weren't picked up on because they weren't profitable ways to cure it.

I would keep the cure to myself. The population of the world is growing too fast. Without fatal diseases the population would stay strong and keep growing even moreso than it is now.

I would also proceed to scatter shards of glass all over the world and take away all pool fences.

Your welcome world.

Hopefully we start a massive campaign to get people to stop reproducing so much although if ALL cancer is cured then hopefully humanities "uncontrolled growth" will also have stopped. I just had a similar thought today about what would happen if crime disappeared over night. It sounds like a great proposition untill think about how many jobs will be lost and then also needed when we no longer have to run prisons or need police and people who would have spent most of their life in prison find themselves needing an actual job.

I'd go "Yay I cured cancer."

People would die from cancer less in areas where healthcare is accessible and affordable.

I don't understand what the OP expected to change. Just because some disease got cured. We cure diseases all the time on this planet. Anyone remember pneumonia? Bubonic Plague, AKA The Black Death? Hell, CHICKEN POX used to kill us, until we figured out how it worked. Cancer's no different. It's just taking longer.
