Necrons.

They're immortal, they cleanse entire planets of ALL life, including bacteria and even if you manage to kill them, they'll just rebuild themselves or go to the nearest tomb to get a new body.

Well I think its a bit silly you are all talking about Gods and immortal killer robots from 40K.

I wouldn't call either of those two a 'species'.

In calling with the name of the thread, I'm naming these two, and I'm surprised no-one else thought of them.

Probably the two biggest alien species to come to cinema.
well they are the most famous but certainly not the strongest the predator lacks face to face enqounters he's always stealthy and hiding and gets everyone in the back not in direct combat
and the alien lacks physical power .. yes i said it
Actually, Predators are quite strong, hence being able to jump the heights they do, and scale buildings with their hands. If you check out the novels, you'll find out a lot more about them, they are extremely proficent at close quarters combat, y'know, hence the Wristblades?

And as for the Alien, no, they may not be 'strong' but they swarm. And as we've learned from the films, swarms of bugs can take out even the most heavily armed squad of soliders.
yeah but look at the tyranids they are much bigger, badder, tougher than aliens and predators , they have talons on theyre backs AND can wield guns
Predator's Stealth system, coupled with their Plasmacasters [shouldercannons] and Burners [Like shouldercannons, but handheld, kinda like what they had in AVPR] would make short work of a Tyrannids carapace :) They are the hunters of all. They hunt any sort, and all sorts of prey. They've killed countless different types of creatures for the thrill of the hunt, ones more deadly than the likes of the Tyrannids.

And they probably wouldn't even need the stealth. All they need is one crazy Predator with a deathwish to get into the middle of the enemy and go 'lol wristmounted nuke'
yeah but predators don't attack in endless huge hordes, but theyre stealthy and the thing that tyranids have hording stealth units answers anything if a predator hides somewhere he can be attacked by 50 genestealers who were also hiding ofcourse one predator agianst a horde of gene stealers is toast
So basically, this is a thread where someone names something, and you name something from 40K that could 'easily' beat it? Predators are also known to hunt in packs kiddo.

Bored now, cba to respond.

The Reapers
In theory it's impossible for shepard to save the universe
he/she only can because it's a game

That aside if we don't talk about godlike warmongers

Krogans without the genophage they'd have taken over the universe
oh please stop read about the necrons they are unkillable because they self repair if they die and theyre made of regenerating metal, they dont need to eat, drink or breath, the reproduce by killing, and theyre little gauss rifles can destroy a reaper ship anytime they want because gauss flares penetrate everything.
no you're wrong see reapers do the same they self repair they assimilate they enslave , they trade in information
It's 2 different universes you have no way of knowing if a gauss rifle will penetrate a reaper
seemingly cause we ourselves don't even know much about what reapers are besides the destroyers of galaxies/universes
/
well anyway if the reaper ship is made of normal metal then the necrons would destroy it in seconds if not then well they would destroy it anyway lol necrons can't really be enslaved because they are machines too but if a necron would engage in a conversation with a reaper they would become the best friends ever lol

The Ellimist. He exists inside the very fabric of the galaxy. If he doesn't like you, he won't even kill you; he'll just make it so that you, or your family, or your planet never even existed.

I'ma say the Forerunners. They had death lasers that could kill the galaxy. Whoa. They also had shields against the death lasers, which is always helpful.

I'm going to put in another vote for Saiyans. Mostly because I was just watching Dragonball Z Abridged.
And I loved DBZ. I should actually watch that entire anime one day...

Bacteria. You will never get rid of them. They can survive in space, they permeate the Earth, some can eat radioactive waste, and they are REAL, b!tches!
Dear God.... Get the president on the line and tell him we're fucked.

OT: Ummm.... The Reapers? They seemed pretty scary.
reapers are machines... this prettty much sums it all up
They're techno organics, that was pretty much summed up in the second game, so you can't disqualify them.

I think that perhaps some people in this thread are taking it a wee bit too seriously, and wont admit any fault in their selected race...but anyway.

Doomsday was pretty cool, I guess. The one who killed Superman. Genetically engineered creature, who is reborn apon death, but has a genetic memory causing him to adapt to the cause of his death, growing more powerful. So, every time you kill him, he comes back and can never be killed that way ever again. Also, fast, strong, smart (eventually) etc. So he seems like a candidate? Technically he's kryptonian.

Oh, and cockroaches. Goddamn unkillable bastards. >.>

Either the Necrons or the dwarves from dwarf fortress.
i've seen them kill a titan, single handedly, unarmed.

I would have to second (or third depending on how many times I have been ninja-ed) the weeping angels. Also I don't think individual entities like the old gods count. I mean a handful of radically different creatures with no means of reproduction does not a species make, similarly the necrons aren't really a species they may a species sized von neuman machine but they are really only the leavings of an even older race. It would be like it we developed factories that made cars without outside interference and then humans died off. They key difference being that cars are way more laid back about other people existing.
