I don't believe it for a second.
This exactly. Something like this would've been all over the news pretty much everywhere if it was real.
It is, when I looked at related links it seemed like there was a bunch of TV channels doing a story on this girl.

And I'm 99% sure it's real, in the clip they said they had doctors that tested her and determined what it was so I'm sure it's real.
But the question is, real as in "has a neurological disorder" or "this was solely caused by the flu shot (as is heavily implied)".

The first I can believe, there are a lot of weird as sh** diseases and disorders out there. The latter, no freaking way. Either way, there is no real story here.
If I've understood it correctly, I think it was an existing mental condition that was intensified by the flu shot. It's really a one in a million shot no matter how you view it.

Ha Ha HA wel done ThePyr. I laughed, no facepalm!
No...The facepalm was mine as I shook my own head. I got the reference. Good job! :)

I assume you get the forward/slash command reference I used. If not, no big deal.

There are many things that can trigger a neurological disorder such as accidents, illnesses, and yes even medication has been linked as a trigger. It's not as far-fetched as it sounds.

I doubt it was caused by the flu shot and I honestly think its all psychogenic (in the head).

But I don't doubt that life probably sucks for her, just because something is caused mentally as opposed to physically doesn't make it less traumatic. Unless she's faking like balloon boy.

But really I want to see what happens if she gets put on anti-psychotic drugs and/or while being told they should cure her.

Weird.

This is somewhat off-topic and possibly inappropriate, but I wonder what it's like to have sex w/ her now.

I watched that in my Biology class today. We discussed how its totally ridiculous and makes no sense, since how can she all of a sudden not talk when she walks?
Its so fake, she cant even act out the spasms well.

I do feel really bad for her but i'm calling total BS on this. How would getting the shot make you worse? I know that people react differently to vaccines but nothing worse then getting above avg symptons...
The pathetic thing is that my GF and her mom believe this and its pissing me off that they're not thinking AGAIN....

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will convince me the Holocaust never happened before I believe a word of this.

How stupid are people, really? Why are so many people so willing to believe a ridiculous story made up by some random girl? Atleast Ahmadinejad has credentials.

EDIT: To be fair, I never even watched the video as I've heard about this and how ridiculous it is previously, so maybe the girl puts on a really convincing act, but I mean, really people. Do you realize how ridiculous this sounds?
Well, that means she fooled PROFESSIONAL DOCTORS who actually HAVE A NAME FOR THE DISEASE! It could be legit.

First off, cool forum name good sir assuming it is not meant as an attack, but for the sake of humor.

On topic: I believe she has a genuine problem and not faking. I only question whether or not it is actually caused by a flu shot. For all we know she took a bad hit of Ecstacy and it screwed her up or triggered what she was genetically predepositioned to.

Of course you can't sue a drug dealer so why not claim flushot. I am not saying this is what is happening. But given this has never happened before according to the FDA, it does leave one to think.

I don't care if I sound momentarily heartless but this story reeks of fake.

How can you walk like an idiot but run and walk backwards just fine? And can't talk well when walking or stationary, but talk fine when you run?

It makes no sense.

Wonderfully, there is no proved direct link to the flu shot. They just made one giant assumption. Until I see proof that it was unquestionably the flu shot that did this then I consider the point of the story bullshit.

The disease seems like bullshit too, but I don't know enough about it to confirm that thought.

Well, considering that I haven't heard anything about this until now, I doubt how real it is. The whole thing starting 10 days after the flu shot, so I think it's more of a coincidence than anything.
