They're a economic super-power with one of the greatest populations to use for warfare, and are a dictatorship masquerading as a communistic-democracy.
Yup.
HAHAHA EVERYTHING IS WRONG ABOUT WHAT YOU HAVE SAID! I LOL AT YOU!
(So I do not get banned, I will explain.)
1. While they are economically pretty powerful, their GDP is just over one third of the USA's and just over one quarter the EU's. So I wouldn't call them a superpower.
2. Yes they have a very large military, so that isn't technically wrong, but in the context of modern warfare, it is not as relevant as your statement implys.
3. For them to be a dictatorship, they have to have a dictator, which they don't really. EDIT: Yes ok, they do resemble a dictatorship in some ways, but Wu Jintao does not have absolute power consolidated upon himself. Therefore, no dictatorship.
4. I've never heard them call themselves democratic, but they are hardly communists anymore. (
Heloooooooooo Special Economic Zones!)

While Communism is a great idea on paper, it could never be done in real life due to a little thing called human nature.
No goddammit! I hate when people say this! grrrr! Capitalism is a far better idea than Communism because Capitalism facilitates competition between large organizations to produce the best item. This is why the USA so far outstripped the USSR's technology! For instance: I believe than if the entire world had converted to Communism at the time of the Russian Revolution, computers would be either non-existent due to Stalin's ban on electronic research, or at most, still be at the stage where they were the size of refrigerators.
