Lyle was led out of the building by the threatening man. His hand slid under his cloak to grab his sword carefully. Luckily he did not need it for the man produced a sheet of paper. Thats quite the list there... How he expects us to get all of that is beyond me. But I best be humoring him for now. Lyle thought to himself, his expression unchanging as he read the list a few more times.
"I'll gather what I can from that list of yours and return here later, with everyone else's supplies as well." With that spoken the figure immediately left. Lyle rolled over the list in his mind again. "He'll have to deal with what we can get I suppose." He muttered under his breath as he left towards the tall walls and gated entrance that marked Tanan's estate.
...A few hours later, back in the bar...
Lyle entered the tavern hall, glad to see everyone still there. "Alright then, it took some effort and I couldn't get quite everything that was requested but here we go. I managed to secure a few torches for each of you, no lamps were able to be spared. Fitzgerald, your horse is tethered to the post outside. Gleaming white with a finely crafter suit of silver armour. Hopefully it suits your... style. Maverick." As he says the name he holds up a small sack containing various bits and pieces of wood and common metals, enough to build a weapon or two if used right. This is what I was able to gather for you. Some of it however is impossible to gather so I got the next best thing which is a small collection of Catalysts. Hopefully this will suffice."
As Lyle went around handing out the extra gear to everyone he felt a small twinge of guilt within him. This isn't even their problem really, yet we thrust them headlong into it. Telling them to fix our problems while expecting them to die. What am I talking about, they do this because a lord commanded them to. They have no choice in the matter anyways.
"Now go, follow the path east until you reach the hills. There enter the caverns mouth and descend, all while following the sounds of moving water. We have no map to give as the tunnels rarely stay the same down there." He turns away from the group and begins to walk away.
"Oh, and good luck out there."
