The ending made me laugh (in a bad way) and then feel very sad, because somewhere, sometime some poor, poor overpatriotic moron is gonna be like "YER AMERIIICUH!"

Fucking terrible game in general really, the fucked up pacing killed it. You know the devs fucked up when you're going round a building with a shotgun that shoots fire and you're bored out of your mind

Yeah, that's kinda shit. When a Call of Duty game gets best ending ever, that is a sign that shit is messed up in the world. The best ending should have been Red Dead Redemption. I almost cried at the end. The fuck is this?

In fairness, the list itself is composed of quite a wide variety of games. I find that in lists like this, the actual placement is irrelevant - first place, 50th place, it doesn't matter, the point is to praise the ending of all games on the list.

Because Reach spoiled it's ending with every game before it...and at the very beginning of the game itself.

In case you missed it, here's the ending to Reach:
The Human's lose and you die.

As for best ending ever, I'd go with Rage! I love how it just tells you to go fuck yourself because the game's over and if you were actually expecting to fight General Whatshisface and not just a couple of waves of mutants than you're a queer!

Heh heh, but seriously, I'd go for Left 4 Dead 2 because it has like 6 endings.

I kid, I kid...seriously, I don't know what game has the "best ending of all time", all I know is that the game ending I've looked forward to most of any other game is Mass Effect 3...GOTTA see the end to the story, damnit! Not saying it'll be the best ending evar, just saying that's the game whose ending I've been most eager to see.

Just look at the top 5, two CODs, Halo and Zelda. The games with some of biggest fanboys.

I am so surprised that any MGS games made the list since it is on a 360 page.

It is such a joke to be honest.

In my very biased opinion MGS3 had the best build up to and actual ending.

I mean, even if we're going to stick with the last five years, Portal 2 has the advantage that nothing hilariously "tragic" happens (in Single Player, anyways), but doesn't feel unfulfilling. I'd definitely label it best in the last five years, with maybe Mirror's Edge as a close second (entirely due to it having the honor of being the only game that ends WELL while someone is dangling three miles off the ground by their handcuffs).

And if we're going to say "All Time", then this list is a great big farce. RIVEN ended better than most of these.

I loved the end on Black ops mainly because it was the end. Im not being serious of course ive never even played the game but polls like these are pointless, im just waiting for GTAV to come out so it can be crowned best game ever like every 3D iteration of its franchise popular games will always win polls like this especially if they are kept in the public eye its the power of ignorance.

Looking at that list though and having finished quite a few of those games on there I would personally have to disagree with roughly 90% of it but then 13`000 people cant be wrong right.
