Name: Fain
Element: Life. Sheer, unadulterated life force is Fain's realm, of both animal and plant form
Physical description: Before the bombs, fell, when the world teemed with life, Fain was a vast being, a forest of a thousand trees that throbbed to a single heartbeat, a mind that swam the seas in a thousand scaled bodies, a worldwide flock of every avian that ever lived.
The bombs wiped out near all his beings, and now he is much reduced, taking usually the form of a huge man (though only by human standards). The body of this man flows and rolls with sheer vitality, and reshapes itself for each challenge he faces.
History: Fain's speed of thought is inversely proportional to his size; when he ruled over the world, and breathed the air through every lung and saw from every eye, he thought great thoughts like glaciers. The humans knew of him, just , but they called him instinct and mocked him as an outdated trait of evolution.
He was barely aware of nuclear weapons before the war came, and while the War passed almost to fast to see, the aftermath left him both hugely weakened and suddenly very, very conscious of slow passing of time. Now, as the other colossi walk the earth again, he too must stride forth and hope that his new found brains will help him match others brawn
Bio: Fain's personality embodies the idea of instinct. While he is capable of being reasonable, charming, witty and sophisticated, he will, when required, devolve into a simple, but brutally effective beast. For in embodying the forces of evolution, Fain shows a truth that humans never realized; that intelligence is simply a tool to be used, and discarded when no longer needed.
Fighting style: As evolution incarnate, Fain's fighting style is never stable. He approaches a problem with every method available, then once an effective method is found, employs every variety of it until it is successful. In practice, this means fighting a whirlwind of shifting flesh that finds your every weakness, and then only hits it harder
It should be noted that fain will subsume every piece of biomass he finds, in order to restore his former power, and will grow in size with every meal until he can match his competitors.
