Actually no. I never liked the Star wars either. I mean, didn't hate them, but don't see the reason they are so big or why they should be so appreciated.DrEmo said:I don't like Star Wars. In fact, I think it was written by a five year old. (This one is 100% true; everyone hates me for this opinion.)
Damn, you got to it before me.Susan Arendt said:I preferred the original, honkingly huge, Xbox controller to the revised version.

I'll grant #1. My gaming PC was $800...but it can play more games than your single console. I have over 4 times as many games (number pulled out of ass) than you do on a console.
The only difference in installing a PC game to a Console game is you get to choose which folder to put it in. Consoles are constantly requiring updates as well. Windows updates automatically.
Consoles have just as many pirates, though I don't see how, other than DRM, that affects your play experience.
With controls and the PC, you always have the option to just use an Xbox360 controller for fighting games, or a wheel and pedals for racing games...your point is moot.
It takes me 2 minutes to join a TF2 game from the desktop, 3 to get into Mass Effect, one minute for COD4... my PC is always on. If it's not, it's a 3 minute boot-up.
I've never run into performance issues. It's very, VERY easy to ascertain how well your PC will handle a certain game based. If you have difficulties, you should have built your rig better.
A bit better graphics? The second you bought your console it was obsolete, and other than getting a bigger HDD, you're stuck with it.
Sorry...but it just sounds like you are blindly following a particular idiom without actually paying attention to, well, anything beyond your own short view. I know it's your opinion and I respect that...but you are basically spouting off lies here.
ON TOPIC....Mass effect is a pile of boring crap. I'm having to force myself through it...that's not a good game.
Pass off everything I say because obviously I'm a moronic console fanboy.Woodsey said:Have you ever even used a computer for gaming before?
Actually, nevermind. I don't need to get into this debate again.

I agree wholeheartedly with these two. I loved both of these, but whenever I mention it to the few people I know they say both are terrible xDSusan Arendt said:I preferred the original, honkingly huge, Xbox controller to the revised version.

On a computer I have to find the file online, I have to then download it, install the file and then finally I have the patch. With a console I press a button and it's all done for me. A simple question of convenience that is much more attractive to live with
It is far more difficult to pirate a console game though, with PC gaming I can search almost any game, program or file and I can instantly find a torrent. With console gaming I usually have to do that, maybe add a modifier chip or a special piece of hardware
That's just another thing I have to pay for though. I'm a student, I either buy a controller or I eat so I just stick with a mouse and keyboard unless someone gives me one
I mean for the first time. For PC gamers you have to install the disk, verify you are not a pirate through a serial key, usually switch between CDs, then download all the patches. It is so user unfriendly, I just want to have fun and play a game, not go though all of this crap.
Maybe loading up, I will be fair, load times on oblivion are slightly faster on my PC than my xbox but honestly that is not enough of a benefit to me
Obsolete? Yeah until I can actually sell mine on later while you are stuck with your PC for life. I'd rather ave something I don't need to change, upgrade or do anything to, as long as it works then I am fine with that
Why is it whenever someone makes a simple observation through their own experiences. No PC gamin misses the point of gaming of sacrificing convenient pick up and play, expensive systems & upgrades, irritating patches, a community which a majority intends to damage their medium and all for what? Faster load times, better graphics and a preference controller . I don't care about the first, better graphics is killing the industry and the controller doesn't work very well with a lot of games
No. I will not go through all this micro management to play a game that I want to have fun on

Yes I have played PC gaming, I still do but it's so much worse then PC gaming as explained above
Yeah well the amount of people who have essentially said *OMIGAWDCONSOLE FANBOY PC MASTURRACE* that I have become bitter and very defensive about my views towards PC gamingWoodsey said:Oh my, someone's defensive.
The point was that that list of "problems" always gets brought up when most PC gamers I speak to never have them, and the arguments usually come from people who haven't played on PCs.
I didn't buy anything in that store during any part of that game, I stole everything. All Hail Lelouch said:I Stole the Bow and Arrow in Legend of Zelda Links Awakening
Most of your arguments are related to "convenience" and "user-friendliness" both of which are easily solved with a lick of knowledge and common sense. I'll grant that just getting into PC gaming is intimidating, but spend a little time with the platform and most of your issues evaporate. You certainly are a product of the I-want-it-now generation. The Rockerfly said:Pass off everything I say because obviously I'm a moronic console fanboy.
