Is this just another Slam America thread? I do get so tired of those.
And please don't compare us to Nazi Germany. That's just insulting. I'm going to assume you're not from the United States because anyone with brain cells to rub together that lives in this country knows that FOX News is hardly news at all. It's garbage.
And why the hell would we try to copy Rambo? You know, we do know the difference between movies and reality. Geez.
Yeah, we do own a lot of guns. My mom, my sister, my dad--all have their gun permits and I'll be getting mine once I have the money. It doesn't mean we're all crazy. Yeah, we like our violent movies and yeah, we can be proud of the good things we've done--while still being aware of the bad things we've done--but you get that with any country. Great Britain has done some amazing things--but they built an empire (and had it until the 1940s) and ruled it very efficiently--but they're still impressive and I wouldn't begrudge anyone from England about being proud of their country. (Hell, I think they're really impressive.)
So obviously, yes--with a large coalition force, England's Royal navy--especially at the head of the Commonwealth like they are, France, Germany as support (because they have not been allowed combat roles since the end of WWII, though that may change)--you'd have to have a large global power like Russia too.
But keeping it? Making it successful? That'd be hard pressed. Making it worth it? Considering America's presence in the global economy/market, not to mention overseas.

To clear the air regarding a nuclear war with America, seeing as lots of people are blabbing on about it, I'm going to mention that the USA has something like the largest or second largest stockpile of nuclear weapons in the world, and as soon as they realized that nukes were coming, long range bombers would be mobilized and silos would light up all across the country, immersing the enemy in a massive nuclear shitstorm even bigger than the one the Americans would be facing. The only countries that could even attempt to do this are China and Russia, and either way both countries would be annihilated. Anyone play fallout?
Also. This.
We have a 90% chance of being able to intercept the nuclear weapons that North Korea keeps saying they're going to use on Hawaii. If it came to nuclear war--obviously we would launch in return if it became clear that the other industrialized countries had lost their collective minds. Realistically, only Russia is big enough (and has an arsenal of nuclear weapons large enough) to risk nuclear war with the United States and the consequences of such a war between the two countries would be disastrous for the rest of the world.
