OSS 117: Le Caire nid d'espions (Cairo, nest of Spies). It's a parody of an old show from the mid 20th century. Absolutely hilarious. It's in French so I hope you don't mind subtitles.

'In The Loop' if you're into political satire... and lots of creative swearing.
Yes. I haven't laughed that much at a film in ages. Very quotable.

I order you to see In Bruges. It's an excellent dark comedy that's genuinely piss-your-pants funny. Literally in the case of my highly-strung friend.
I love you! Uh... I mean, um... I agree with this guy. <.<

The thing is about In Bruges, however, is that even though it's a comedy, it can still be pretty damn sad at some moments. If you want something more than just plain comedy, In Bruges is right for you. But if you want just a plain comedy, I'd be a bit cautious of it, if I were you. Still worth checking out, though.

Now, if you want just plain comedy, I'd definitely recommend some Mel Brooks movies, specifically Blazing Saddles, Spaceballs, and History of the World [small](pt. 1)[/small].

You won't laugh massively, but it's a bloody good film.

Any of the Monty Python films (except maybe for And Now For Something Completely Different). Another one I'd recommend is In The Loop, a political satire which I was laughing through for nearly the entire film.

depends on what you mean by honestly funny? I think the Austin Powers movies are hilarious, Due Date, and I also find Transmorphers and Transmorphers:Fall of Man to be hilarious but thats just because they are horrible. I mean really hilariously bad horrible. Like in Fall of Man...
I doubt I need a spoiler for this but you can never be too sure.
a U.S airforce specialist in UAVs is the only specialists that the government can go to on an invading alien force. So like no one who trained him was more relevant to the field of specialty? Plus and here's the two best parts. They try to pass a power plant off as an air force base. My favorite spot is when he finally tells his "love interest" what has been bothering him for so long, and it is that he was in charge of a platoon in Iraq. (First of all he's a specialist in the Air force...the air force doesn't have platoons. So that makes it either the army or marines...and he is a UAV pilot...why the fuck would he be in a platoon. Okay well lets say it was for a mobile UAV support. Alright well you know how many people would have to die for an air force specialist to be in charge of an army or marine platoon? Well there are about 25-35 men in a platoon, so about 25-35 minus the ones that lose their mind because everyone they know died. Anyway as he is in charge of this platoon they come under fire by ONE rpg. So him in all his command experience decides to have everyone hold up as he alone runs up to take out the rpg by himself. When he kills the guy he hears gun fire and runs back to his platoon only to find they were ambushed and all killed....how fucking far did the rpg guy shoot from that an ambush killed about 35 men and the "commander" couldn't run his slow ass back to them in time before they were already killed and the enemy fled?/rant

Plus the first one, Transmorphers is more future based but didnt' have enough budget so you get things like cast members firing laser guns with no sound or effects XD

Dale & Tucker vs Evil. That movie was fricking hilarious, it's a different take on scary movies, told through the "murderers" perspective.

Will Farrell? Really? Come on people. Try harder.

Skip movies and watch Arrested Development. Now that is comedy gold. It's intelligent, and planned progression, not your average sitcom looking for cheap knyucks. Give it 3 episodes, I promise you will be hooked. Streaming Netflix for free, last time I checked.

Just watch any Monty Python movie, or even just short clips on youtube. I guarantee you will piss yourself laughing :D

On a side note, I accidently clicked the red button again, not knowing I could go through the horror twice. How stupid I was :L

Tropic Thunder? Or what about Anchorman? Or Dodgeball, Zoolander, my list could go on. Or if you want a less popular choice what about the new Green Hornet? I know some people didn't like it but I found it really entertaining, with lots of action and comedy. :)

Being Human and Big Bang Theory. Not movies but I haven't seen a lot of genuinely funny movies lately. These series are funny and engaging.
Really? While there are definitly some geniunely funny moments in Being Human i find both that and Big Bang Theory a waste of time.
