No, no one I know IRL has ever come online to insult me. I don't really use the internet to talk to individual people, and only a few people no anything about my OL habits, so...

As for weather or not I've been insulted online, oh boy. I have been troll'd and have gone troll'n hundreds of times before, and I'm better for it. It was only thanks to these things that I was finally able to really stop caring about what people OL think of me, I know it sounds really stupid and emo but when I was 12 it got to me OK?

I honestly wouldn't change a thing, because if I did, if I took away everything I've seen, and done, I'd start caring again, because I won't know what happens when you let everything get to you, then I'd just get pissed off even more than I already do; I barely cope with my life as it is.

You see, a lot of what I've learned online has helped me offline, it may be a little sad but the internet really has made my life better.

Well I'd like to see you say that to the mother of the girl who committed suicide after being cyber bullied by an older women. It can be a threat mainly among females who are more verbally bullied and can be harassed and humiliated on-line and driven in some cases to self harm and suicide. Some people even retreat to a virtual world as a last sanctuary due to bullying in the physical one and to have even that sanctuary breeched can be devastating (I had to write an essay on it for sociology hence knowing anything about it).

But yeah its not much of a threat to those who are technologically adapt or who are male where you just beat the crap out of each other straight up in real life.

agreed. i have never been cyberbullied, but i suspect that if i had, i would have snapped completely. i got absolutely no peace in school from bullies, and having to put up with their comments outside of school would be more then i would be able to handle.

Look if you can't take something from a person who you don't even see, then frankly don't be on the internet, if you know then in real life and they hound you it's bullying, screw the cyber. and 2% of teens? It's not necesarily just on the internet. And last time I checked you can't block people on your phone.
