I've got a couple questions

1. How many people are going to be in the final group for this rp?

2. Is DICE the only anti-demon organization or are there others? Perhaps rival organizations or ones associated with a specific government or type of threat?

Let me know what you guys think of this character. I will gladly make changes if needed, and since I'm seeing a few people whose characters need partners or handlers I would be more than willing to alter my char to work that in.

Name: Garath Heller

Gender: Male

Age: 32

Nation: American

Species: Human

Appearance: Tall and thin, with short swept back black hair and a goatee. Has a fondness for suits and in general believes in being well-dressed.

Personality: Lazy and frequently sarcastic, he tends to come across as pessimistic, however he is very protective of others and cares deeply about doing the right thing. He has a tendency to show off if he has something resembling an audience.

Division: 2

Skills: Garath is a decent shot with a pistol or a rifle, and prefers to avoid close combat if possible. If he is hunting a target he will call on spirits and question the dead to gain information and is often tasked with working alongside division 4 as a result of his skills. He is very knowledgable regarding magic, and is also very good at working a crowd and can be very charismatic if he needs to.

Power/magic: Skilled in illusions, necromancy, and with calling/summoning and binding spirits or demons. He has learned to mark an object so that he can summon it later if he needs it. Prefers to use magic to save himself work, and has been known to use it to accomplish rather mundane tasks.
He is very good with Illusions, and is capable of changing the appearance of small buildings, and can even turn people invisible for a while. His talents with necromancy tend more to speaking with the dead than actually animating them, although he can create and control a zombie or two if need be. He prefers not to use summoning as he cannot control what he summons unless he manages to bind it to his will, which is very difficult and dependent on him having greater willpower than whatever he is controlling.

Weapons & Equipment: Always carries a handgun, and usually will bring a rifle or shotgun if he needs one. Also tends to carry a deck of cards and occasionally other implements for practicing slight of hand tricks.

Bio: Garath Heller used to be a stage magician, and a fairly sucessful one at that given that his magic was not all slight of hand and optical illusions but was very frequently real, and more dangerous than he knew. DICE discovered him shortly after a "performance" of his involving some rather dangerous spirits went awry, and offered him the choice of being watched by their agents for the rest of his life, or joining them.
His skills meant that he is frequently assigned to watch over dangerous objects or captive demons, as he can try to bind them to his will should they turn violent.
Works for me if you want to be Crow's handler in the field or whatever when they're not doing experiments on him down in the Div. 6 labs. The binding/summoning thing works in well with keeping him on his leash as it were.

Two questions:

1) Is there a faction who directly oppose demons, who are also supernatural i.e. Angels?

2) How long has D.I.C.E been around?
1)Within DICE, no. Outside of it, yes.

2) 20 years give or take.

Name: Mister Science Man
Gender (of host): Male
Age (of host): Sixteen
Nationality (of host): America
Species: Mister Science Man is technically a light-brown sports coat possessing the body of a human cyborg. Through SCIENCE!
Appearance: An ill-kept young man with messy dark blond hair and bronze glasses, wearing a white t-shirt with an orange and black logo on the front, blue jeans, and the light-brown sports coat.
Personality: Half like he's on his own personal kids' science show, like Bill Nye or Beakman, with his projecting and happy devil-may-care attitude, and half like a mad scientist, with his flagrant disregard of rights, laws, ethics, in pursuit of knowledge, and his devil-may-care attitude.
Division: 6
Skills: Intelligence, the ability to lift objects that are sort of heavy, a never-ending supply of bravado, and the power to build objects out of 90s tech, masking tape, and SCIENCE!
Power/magic: Hmm... the whole "actually a sports coat possessing a guy" would seem to fit here the best, actually. And have I mentioned SCIENCE! yet?
Weapons & Equipment: A bunch of 90s-esque technology (including the Science Phone), three mysterious test tubes of brightly colored chemicals, his DICE ID card, and whatever he happens to shove into his pockets.
Bio: Mister Science Man was summoned from an alternate universe of some description in a demon ritual that was probably trying to bring about the end of the world. DICE discovered him trying to interface a dead demon and a cassette tape. When the slayer in charge asked him what he was doing, he smiled and said, as though he and the slayer were both old friends joking around, "Science, of course!" When he was taken in for further questioning, he was, for some reason, hired into division 6. Maybe for his talents, maybe to keep an eye on him.

Oh, and if I get in, I'm totally willing to have MSM hold on to/keep track of/abuse any magic doohickeys/chaotic personnel/partners. Though I'm not saying he'll do a great job of it. Nor that anyone would give him such things.

Eh, sod my sheet. You can make him an NPC and put him in section 0 if you want.

Or you could just completely ignore it, your choice.

Some more questions: What kind of place is the D.I.C.E. headquarters, and where is it? How many people are there in each division, and is it possible to live in or close to the headquarters?

Division 2: Experimental weapon report.

New vanguard shock unit.

Name: Azkar.

Gender: Unknown, assumed previously female.

Age: Unknown.

Nation: Unknown.

Species: Chaotic abomination. (Captured, tortured and warped by demons, technically treated as a half demon.)

Appearance: A demented, asymmetrical creature. A dark mass of powerful muscled limbs, barbed tentacles and chitin plates. Hidden behind thick armor and folds of muscle within it's chest cavity is the upper body of an albino female. The female human appears slightly underweight to the point that ribs can be faintly seen, appears to be a young adult with white hair to her shoulders and soft, beautiful features, it has stunning red eyes. The entity however seems extremely reluctant to show this aspect of it'self however. We only discovered it during interrogation by accident.

The entire entity is roughly 8 feet tall but capable of increasing or decreasing it's height depending on it's limbs and stance. It has 2 long, clawed legs protruding from the rear, of the chest and another 2, shorter legs protruding from the front. It also has two, thick armored arms that it also uses to walk and to add additional protection, they also have incredibly mighty 3 clawed hands tucked beneath the armor at the ends of the arms. These arms are mounted either side of the chest, slightly raised. The chest is fairly long and leans forward, with masses of tentacles and thin arms constantly moving between the thick chitin plates. A thick necked, armored head sits at the foremost part of the chest of the entity. It has no eyes, just a large shaped chitin plate bent over it's face, revealing large, powerful jaws.
It's weight fluctuates slightly, but is consistently around a 600 kilograms.

Personality: The entity seems to have great patience. We also believe that it is sane. However it only seems to 'open up' to people it deems worthy. What we have gleamed is that the entity is very protective of who it deems innocent and very empathetic. We believe prolonged exposure in a teamwork environment would give us more information.

Division: Division 2. (Recommend constant supervision.)

Skills: Incredible strength and endurance. Can devour Demonic energy or Human flesh to regenerate and empower it'self. Fast reflexes capable of reacting to slow projectiles such as rockets, fireballs and propelled grenades. Incapable of reacting quickly to bullets or other incredibly fast attacks.
Can take and deal ridiculous amounts of punishment, practically invincible if it's arms are locked forward in a stationary defensive stance.

Power/magic: Psychic Senses that work like constant sonar, can penetrate walls and track sentient beings that aren't in LOS to a degree. Replaces sight and smell due to demonic "modification". Provides the information necessary to control it's body.

Minor telepathy. Incapable of forcing it'self into Human's heads if they refuse to communicate. No speech impediment with Demons however.

Engine of Destruction: Can eat Demons and Humans to regenerate and increase it's mass or partially alter it's form. Takes time to mutate, which usually then bursts out from between the plates of chitin.

Demonic Resistance: Demonic spells/powers and effects are greatly diminished when attempting to assail the entity.

Weapons & Equipment: Claws, teeth, tentacles, kinetic force and it's arms. The scenery and the entities enemies quickly become weapons themselves.

Bio: Seems to have been sent to Hell while still alive and Human. God knows what the entity endured. Yet it has come out of the harrowing experience sane, with the desire to annihilate Demons and evil.

Was procured from [redacted] by Division 0 team [redacted] during Operation: [redacted].
After sufficient interrogation, experimentation and testing we have decided to utilize it as a weapon against the Demons. As long as our goals align and it has a use, we will allow it to exist until it outlives it's usefulness.

Willing to alter stuff, let me know what you think. Put me in whatever division fits if you deem me acceptable.

The voices in my head wouldn't be quiet until I posted this character.

Name: Joseph Henderson
Gender: Male
Age: 20
Nation: New Zealand
Species: Human

Appearance: Joseph is a strapping young man who is very tall and broad at the shoulders standing about 6'4" tall. His skin is slightly dark giving good definition to his noticeable mussels. Joe's hair is black and cut quite short. Joe has a rather large face and big ears though his features all tend to have a slight slant to them.

Joe tends towards casual comfortable clothing that isn't too lose or too tight. Red T-shirts and jeans are the go to outfit for Joe along with a red jacket of appropriate wight depending on the temperature. Joe also wears his power transformer on his left wrist at almost all times.

Personality: Joseph is exceedingly prideful in almost all things, especially his skills and abilities. Joe is also has something of a patience problem; not that he cant wait on things, but more that he absolutely cant stand doing nothing and becomes agitated and antsy if forced to sit still for long.

On the other hand, Joe is also quite personable and has a strong magnetic personality, some D.I.C.E. observers have noted that he may have leadership potential with proper guidance. Joe is also a strong believer in self determination and environmentalism.

Division: 5 {though he has been noted as also working well with divisions 2 or 4)

Skills: Joe is a skilled martial artist, possessing black belts in karate as well as jujitsu. Joe compounds these skills with being quite fit and acrobatic. Certain members of division 4 have also been forced to admit he has an uncanny level of inductive reasoning (guessing ability).

Power/magic: Joe has no magic or powers of his own.

Weapons & Equipment: Power Transformer: Joe always wears his power transformer, a wrist mounted squarish red box with several buttons and a nob that somewhat resembles a eclectic watch. The transformer acts perfectly as a short range radio receiver/transponder and is also capable of interfacing with cellphone towers, but these are only the least of it's abilities.

Through a poorly understood method the transformer draws on a subtle but pervasive background energy designated 'The Transformation Flow Lines' to conjure and partially generate certain things. Keeping the objects extant though drains it's finite but self regenerating power store. If the device totally runs out of power then all called items tend to vanish suddenly leaving the transformer and wearer drained and mostly inoperable until given some time to recharge.

Division 6 personnel are quick to point out that their knowledge of the devices' methodology and capacity are extremely limited other then that it is very old and powerful magic. Nobody, not even Joe, is really sure of what unknown abilities the device may posses.

Battle Suit: One of the most simple things for Joe to conjure with his power transformer. This is a unique suit of nearly skin tight red material that covers the entire body and includes a rounded full face helmet. The thigh high boots though are black and the gloves gold also having a white circle inside a gold ring marking the chest. The helmet has a black visor and silver mouth cover.

The suit itself looks a little bit silly and impractical as many have pointed out, but it is in fact layered with many enchantments. While Joe wears the suit his already impressive strength and speed are increased allowing him to accomplish feats at the very edge of human possibility. In addition, the suit provides a very slight 'danger sense' to the wearer allowing for the chance to avoid additional attacks. Most impressively though, the suit distinctively protects the wearer, lessening blows and absorbing energy that strike it though doing so directly draws extra energy out of the transforming device.

The suit itself also drains energy out of the transforming device as long as it's active allowing enough capacity for almost 60 minutes of operation from a full charge if nothing else happens. When summoned using the energy transformer the suit appears in a flash of light on Joe, replacing whatever clothing he was previously wearing. It vanishes in a similar manor when returned or when smashed by a strong enough attack, returning his cloths once again.

Star Saber: Actually a misnomer, while the default form of this weapon is a red handled' broadsword it can also change shape to a spear (with shortened blade and much elongated handle) or some kind of magic beam pistol (the blade shrunk to almost nothing, the hilt becoming a barrel, and one of the cross guards becoming the new handle and trigger).

This is the default conjured thing that Joe calls to enhance his offensive capabilities. Though Joe doesn't know much about armed combat the battle suit and star saber seem to interface to grant a certain level of automatic expertise, and the weapons seem quite effective against demons. Like the suit, the saber seems to slowly drain energy when deployed.

Shield: Not much more then an addition to the battle suit. This single piece of gold colored metal is triangular in shape and forms something of a breast and back plate. Wearing this extra bit of armor does significantly increase the battle suit's ability to protect the wearer from harm though it roughly doubles the energy drain as well. In addition it allows Joe to project the battle suit's defensive ability outward like a barrier though at a significant energy drain.

Grand Robot: The energy transformer also allows Joe to call the FMPU 08 (Grand Robot) to his position in an autopilot like state. However, since it has it's own power source this doesn't drain the transformer's energy reserve. (see below)

Bio: Joseph used to be a perfectly normal high school student until one fateful day...

While Joe was out hiking alone a sudden earthquake hit and Joe fell into a deep crevice that suddenly appeared. Joe was glad to find that he was unharmed by the fall, but confused about where he was. At first he thought that he had fallen into some kind of cavern, but as his eyes adjusted he realized that it was actually a large underground facility of some kind dusty and dark from long unuse.

Joe spent some time searching the center and found it full of devices and artifacts that he didn't understand or recognize in the least. One in particular though was different; a red wristband looking thing that suddenly jumped unto Joe's arm when he touched it and fastened itself there. Eventually though Joe found a way out and tried to forget the place.

Several days later though Joe saw something strange, figures that he knew couldn't be human seemed to be trying to rob a bank. Joe rushed in to try and stop them but they shrugged off his punches and kicks like they were nothing. It was then that Joe first summoned his battle suit using the wrist thing and with that new power was able to fight off the demons.

Over the next several weeks Joe fought off successive attacks by stronger monsters as he also developed his own knowledge of his new power and his demon fighting skills. Joe also spent some of his free time exploring more of the strange underground facility making a few more discoveries.

It was also during this time of fighting demons that Joe met a strange person who also seemed to have an interest in fighting the demons. The man it turned out, belonged to D.I.C.E. (division 4) and the two occasionally worked together in fighting the demons. Over time Joe discovered though that the attacks weren't random, but were all being done at the command of a greater demon sorcerer who was hiding by working through underlings. Eventually though Joe drove back the demons found their headquarters and attacked fighting the overlord and being forced to summon the grand robot for the first time.

When D.I.C.E. saw this display of power it was decided that such a destructive power would require monitoring. The agent approached Joe about joining D.I.C.E. and he agreed.

Division 6 spent quite a lot of time and effort poring over what Joe could bring them (nobody but Joe could enter the old underground facility so they mostly have to do with images and recordings) but progress is very slow since they don't want to accidentally render anything inoperable. Still, what they have discovered has allowed for some interesting advances in D.I.C.E. technology and mysticism.

The current popular theory is that most of the artifacts were created by an ancient wizard for some conflict long ago. The underground facility was some sort of central fort for commanding and supplying teams of combatants in this conflict. Though Joe hasn't find any other energy transformers, evidence strongly suggests that several others existed as well though their fates are unknown.

Designation: Found Magical Powered Unit #08 (FMPU 08) (Grand Robot)

Description: The grand robot is a roughly humanoid shaped construct standing roughly 15 meters in height and weighing a little over 220 tons. Though it follows the basic humanoid form (2 legs, 2 arms, torso, head) it's components tend towards blocky shapes rather then large curves or exaggerated points. When originally found it seemed to have a strongly faded layer of red paint, since then it has been re-coated and given small (relatively) D.I.C.E. identifiers.

Division: Strictly speaking this unit is attached to a division 5 operative, but due to large resource requirement for deployment and high collateral damage potential clearance is needed from top leadership before deployment.

Components: The unit has a cocpit located within the chest of the unit that houses the single operator who controls all actions of the unit, access is through the back. The main sections of the unit are mostly filled with motion units that combine magic and technology in ways we've never seen before allowing the unit to move with surprising fluidity and speed for it's size. Tests show the unit having a near maximum run speed of 50 mi/hr and a total lifting capacity of around 300 tons.

We can assume that the unit includes some kind of identification security function as it will only respond to agent Henderson's commands as well as a simple automation intelligence allowing it to seek him out when called. The cocpit also contains some basic divination equipment.

The unit is completely covered in several inches of steel armor. The armor plating appears to have enchantments forged into it for increased toughness as well as minor self-mending capability. It should be noted that the armor plating is not even around the entire unit, being somewhat thicker around the chest and generally thinner at the rear.

It should also be noted that the unit is highly modular and several components have completely unknown functions. In addition, multiple ports have been found that we theorize can only be intended for interfacing and combining with other units of similar make.

Armaments: The units original armaments consisted mostly of magic wave projection cannons. A medium output unit is in each arm and a pair of low output units are set into each side of the chest and hips. The robot can also form a large sword (5m long) that seems particularly effective against giant demons. The hands of the unit also seem designed to rapidly generate and vent large amounts of heat for use as a fire based grappling attack.

Since acquiring the unit we have also installed a number of modern weaponry into the unit. [Technician's note: Almost too easy if you ask me.] A pair of light machine guns have been fitted into the head of the unit. Both shoulders have been fitted with 3x3 anti-air/ground missile launchers. Finally we have manufactured a hand held cannon resembling a giant handgun capable of firing 160mm shells from an internal magazine of 10 rounds.

Deployment History: The deployment of FMPU 08 is quite limited. Previous to acquisition by D.I.C.E. a single observed activation was viewed in a countryside of New Zealand by division 5 agent [reference report files: ADZ 8340, ADF 8352, and GJX 0142]. Most other deployments have been either for training or testing purpose using a abandoned quarry as a testing field. A single combat deployment occurred against a leviathan type demon near the coast of Spain. Division 1 agents drove the target to an abandoned warehouse district where FMPU 08 engaged. Target was destroyed with extensive collateral damage registered but no casualties. [reference file folder: D1EH 0527]

It is finished!!! time for bed...

Expanded my bio a little:

Name: Captain Lara Reid, PhD

Gender: Female

Age: 29

Nation: United States of America

Species: Human

Appearance:

Lara stands 5?5? in height, with a slim physique. She has short blonde hair (around neck length in height) that she dyes a light shade of copper, usually keeping it tied back into a pony tail. She has an attractive round face with green eyes. Given her career in the USAF she favors standard issue BDU?s, that come in a variety of colors depending on the destination terrain.

Personality:

She is best described as a chirpy person, who maintains a positive outlook on life, she lacks the personal skills to be a widely sociable person and often can be absorbed in her own work. She is known to be nervous when out on field work.

Division: Division 6 - Science and engineering

Skills: PhD in Mechanical Engineering with Applied Physics, United States Air Force Captain (USAF)

Power/magic: None

Weapons & Equipment: FN P90, EPG-004 (a custom built pistol for D.I.C.E. that discharges bolts of electricity - needs field testing)

Bio:

Lara Reid was born on a wet march morning, at Maryland, Holy Cross Hospital. She was the youngest of three children in a career military family. Her father, Marcus, was a United States Air Force General who relocated the family to the suburbs of Kensington after accepting a desk job at the Department of Defence. He hoped to provide his children with the kind of life he never had as a child as his father was often away from home with the army. Lara lived an idyllic childhood and excelled in education. She studied for a PhD in Mechanical Engineering with Applied Physics at Stanford University, and after graduating, enlisted in the USAF at the request of her father.

After basic training Lara worked on repairing the weapon systems of attack helicopters, spending a couple of four month tours in Afghanistan and Iraq. She moved into the field of automated drones soon after and returned to the United States to work on building more advanced weapon platforms for the drones and aircraft. Lara gained quite a reputation for her work and caught the eye of D.I.C.E. during a a military recruitment drive. At first she refused to believe in the existence of demons but after accepting a mission to provide aerial reconnaissance for an urban operation she was soon convinced to join and accepted a position as department lead in one of the research and development labs of section six. Lara leads her lab in the development of new weapons and vehicles for field work and is highly respected by her peers and chain of command.

This includes her most recent creation the EPG-004 (electronic projectile gun revision four), a unique prototype designed to fire a single electrical charge, intended to overwhelm the electrical brain activity of a target. Unfortunately the weapon still remains in testing and can only fire one shot before the need to vent the resulting build up of heat. The need for portability means that the weapon is equipped with a small battery that is drained after one shot.

Given her training in the USAF Lara was selected to field test various creations and has accompanied numerous teams on missions across the globe. Although she is not a direct combat soldier Lara has proven herself to be resilient in the face of imminent danger and enjoys the opportunity to directly study the demons more closely.

Lara has been working for D.I.C.E. for three years now and her absence from the ?normal? world has caused a rift between her and her father who still remains disappointed at her choice to leave the USAF (he does not know about D.I.C.E.).

Name: Jane Smith
Gender: Male/female (it will make sense later)
Age: unknown/24
Nation: NA/ British
Species: Demon/human
Appearance: 5foot 9 Caucasian female. Brown shoulder length hair with green eyes. Unremarkable in almost every way. Wears masculine clothing, typically jeans and T-shirt.
Personality: Angry and s/he wants you to know it. Passive aggressive and snarky, resentful and misanthropic. Does not form strong attachments to people who s/he views people as pawns. Enjoys manipulating other people?s feelings and studying their responses. Psychological evaluations suggest s/he does experience empathy on some level, just not very much.

Division: 2

Skills: Very skilled with a blade, has contempt for firearms.
Power/magic: Hydromancy(can manipulate/ conjure water and ice). Capable of performing similar physical feats similar to that of shler (futurama reference?) former form and is therefore frequently underestimated. Can survive most injures, headshot sill lethal.

Weapons & Equipment: (possible wielder of Eligor / Souldrinker) if not just a regular single handed sword. Apart from that not much s/he is trying not to get to attached to the meat.

Bio: Previously standing at an impressive 12 feet the demon who now goes by the name of Jane Smith was summoned to do the bidding of sorceress. The summoning went wrong and now he is trapped in the body of the sorceress while she is trapped in his body. In addition his natural affinity for pyromancy was somehow reversed and now he is forced to command an unfamiliar element.
Upon realising what had happened Jane Smith tore apart the surrounding area resulting in D.I.C.E. being alerted. They arrived on the scene and made the obvious mistake of taking Jane Smiths former body in for experimentation leaving the innocent and scared looking woman.
In a desire to reclaim his former form and powers he contacted D.I.C.E and they came to an agreement. In return for 15 years of service s/he would have his body back.

Name: Eliezer

Gender: Male

Age: Lost count a thousand or so years ago.

Nation: N/A

Species: Demon, cursed to inhabit a human body

Appearance: Your typical average joe. His form changes to fit the times, the average man of medieval era might stand out today since people were a lot shorter in those times. He now stands at the tallest he?s ever been at 6?2? and has a slightly muscular build. The lab team shaved his long brown hair off to study his body?s regeneration abilities in finer detail. He has brown eyes. The only features that stand out are two runic tattoos that are on his wrists which signify the curse that was placed on him.

Personality: The years he has spent trapped on earth has made his humour darker, but he is still a trickster at heart, devilishly mischievous and highly intelligent. He will often throw sarcastic jibes at the lab workers and is sardonic in conversation. However he is not just limited to jibes he will often throw out riddles to mock the rigidity of the scientists minds. If he does like like someone though, he will be polite and even courteous.

Division: Specimen of Division 6

Skills: He is no good with swords or guns. Before he was cursed he was skilled in magic he used to trick others with like shape shifting, teleporting and making illusions but no longer has access to those powers. His intelligence and deviousness makes him an excellent planner, but his main repertoire lies with riddles and tricks.

Power/magic: Other than the immortality and healing factor that are part of his curse none.

Weapons & Equipment: N/A Demon lab subjects aren?t allowed weapons.

Bio: Eliezer was known for how he would torment the common folk with his tricks. One day he appeared as a commoner standing at a crossroads, he wore a hat and each quarter was a different colour, one red, one blue, one black, on brown. The farmers saw this commoner standing at the the crossroads from their farms and once they had returned from the days labor they all met at the commonhouse.

One of the farmers said that he had saw a man wearing a red hat that day during his toils, but the others interjected say that can?t be. They had all seen the man, but they all saw a different coloured hat. Unable to agree on what colour that hat was, to protect their pride they all started fighting.

As you might imagine this caused quite the ruckus the Archangel of justice, peace and harmony Raguel couldn't help but notice the discord amongst the farmers. He flew down and asked them what had caused this disharmony between them, the farmers replied telling their tale of the man they had seen at the crossroads and how each in turn was wrong about the colour of his hat. The Archangel told them that they had been tricked, the man they had seen was wearing a hat with each quarter a different colour and that he wanted the farmers to fight over it, for his cause was that of chaos. He vowed to the farmers that he would find the demon that had tricked them and he would punish him.

Hearing about the angel that was searching him, he thought he would trick the angel too. That would earn him some respect in hell.
So the next day while the angel was searching for him he split into two entities, each standing at the two prongs of the forked road, one a man who would always tell the truth and the other would always tell the lie. The Angel would have no way to tell who was the liar and who was telling the truth. They told the angel that they would tell him where Eliezer was, but he would only be able to ask them both one question.

The Angel was stumped, he knew one would tell a lie and one would tell the truth, but not who was doing the lying and who spoke the truth. If he asked them which path Eliezer had used he would have to conflicting answers. Then it dawned on him. He asked them in turn.

?If I asked the other man where Eliezer was, what would he say??

And they both replied ?The other man would say took the left fork.?

The truth sayer would tell him what the liar would say, and they liar would say what he thought the other man wouldn't say. They would negate each other. Eliezer had taken the right fork.

Confronted by the Angel, Eliezer had nowhere left to run. He hoped that the angel would banish him back to hell, like they did with most demons. Instead the angel cursed him to walk the earth as a human for eternity, until he had completed his ?penance?. Only then would he be able to return to the underworld.

Eliezer didn?t understand what the angel meant as penance. He spent many years roaming the earth for answers, hoping he would meet the angel again so he could find out what he meant. After time he gave up trying to find the answer and has spent the last few centuries wandering aimlessly from place to place.

Ten years ago, he was captured by D.I.C.E who have been experimenting on him in their labs ever since they detected his demonic aura. Hoping to unlock the gene for immortality that he has been cursed with.

Here's my sheet, just tell me if I need to edit anything.

Name: Lt. Rory "Mick" McMillan

Gender: Male

Age: 24

Nation: Ireland

Species: Human

Appearance: 6'2" with short, dark brown hair and blue eyes. Lightly tanned skin, neatly trimmed mustache and goatee with an otherwise clear face, save for the scar running down his right cheek. He has a rather narrow, muscular frame that shows in his face, having a narrow jaw and cheekbones to match. Rory also has a nose that has obviously been broken more than twice in his life. When on the clock, he wears standard combat gear, though when off-duty one can usually find him wearing a rugged, brown leather jacket and a t-shirt, usually displaying artwork of some classic rock band. Also wears dark, faded denim jeans along with fingerless leather gloves and a brown leather flat cap to match his jacket.

Personality: Generally an upbeat person, always been one to joke around and have a good laugh. He's hardly one to take any situation seriously, and that led him to have a rather "active" life throughout basic training. However, when necessity calls for it, he can become cold and calculating.

Division: 3

Skills: Training received from the Special Reconnaissance Regiment, including hand-to-hand combat, infiltration and concealment, long-range engagement, unconventional warfare tactics, and extensive knowledge of firearms' mechanics. He also has developed expert marksmanship earned through several years of experience as well as the knowledge necessary to manufacture his own ammunition.

Power/magic: None

Weapons & Equipment: Bolt-action Noreen ULR rifle built to fire LM-Class .416 caliber rounds effectively over 3,000 yards. DPMS Panther LR-308 AP-4 rifle for medium-range combat - uses ammo clips of mercury-filled anti-personnel and tungsten-core armor-piercing rounds. Also carries a Chiappa Rhino made to fire .460 S&W Magnums for a sidearm, along with a with a 16" AF Combat Smatchet (10" blade). He keeps his signature sniper rifle in a special carrying case on his back, his Panther on a sling over his shoulder, his S&W in a hip-holster on his left side, and his Smatchet sheathed to his left thigh. All of his firearms are built for left-hand firing.

Bio: Rory's life before his military career was fairly uneventful, save for the occasional run-in with the authorities. Though that was never anything major, just mainly him being a nuisance with his pellet gun and shooting the garden gnomes of his neighbors that lived a few blocks down the road from his home. He made it through school, sliding by with less-than-exemplary grades but graduating nonetheless. Having taken a great liking to guns, a trait well-supported by the notoriety he'd gained throughout his neighborhood, and little in terms of goals, he signed up for the British Army and soon found himself being shipped off to basic training.

Rory, much to his own surprise, proved himself to be an exceptional soldier in almost every respect. Where he really shown the brightest, however, was at the firing range. Rory's accuracy was certainly something to write home about, having shown to be at the top of the line with just about every firearm that was handed to the man. He was quickly put under evaluation by recruiters for the SRR and, with swift deliberation, it was concluded that Rory was more than suitable for the Regiment.

From the day he became part of the SRR, Rory became a valuable asset to any assignment he was given. His sharp eyes and sharp reflexes served him and his regiment well as he was part of several successful operations in his career. It was the most recent of which that opened his eyes to the world he never would've thought existed...

I will be finishing up the bio soon, just wanted to hear any criticisms as it is now.

Interesting idea, and the sheet itself looks fine. Your only issue would be finding a wielder, but it looks like that wont be a problem.

The only thing you nee to add here i some kind of limit to the healing ability. Like "If he takes too much damage over X amount of time he will die" or something similar.

The bio i kind of bare bones a is. From this I guess he lived a fairly normal human life. And what age did his father tell him about hi heritage?

Well, Toxic stole that from me, so I'll get back to you.
The ammo thing lacks any kind of reasoning(weird thing to say when magic exists in this world, I know). Saying it's magic energy that's condensed into bullets or something would give me an idea as to how that works. Just a thought.

The invisible power is the only thing I'm sceptical. So just make that hard to do or on a limiter. The rest is fine.

The healing ability is pretty much just the same as a normal human - He can just take a bit more punishment and can recover from more deadly injuries quicker - if he gets beaten up too badly in combat he'll go down just like anyone else.

"A human modified by the Bear strain becomes "a walking tank", fighting like a berserker of old and possessing tremendous strength and power. Bear physical capabilities are actually on par with smaller Demons, able to fight and even kill them in single combat. They also possess an incredible faculty for healing, to the point of regenerating nerve damage and internal organs that have been lost"

When designing the character this was what I had in mind for the "Bear Strain" and it's capabilities. Obviosuly it wouldn't be immediate healing, it would require rest and a varying amount of time to recover, just less than your average human.

Ok, I'll add a note that he can only maintain it for a minute or two, and that it becomes more difficult to maintain the more the target of the spell moves.

Nice, I made something cannon.

Thinking about it, since he's been a test subject for Division 6 for some time now, the scientists there would know him. So does anyone feel like striking up a friendship (of sorts) with Eliezer?
