Fable 3.

I could rant for paragraphs on how I feel the game tanked but instead, I'll just tell you to go watch AngryJoe's video. 52 reasons why he hates Fable 3. Most of mine, pretty much the same.

I dislike Minecraft. I think it could have been better. But then you mcan pplay it for free, so I shouldn't really complain. Also Fable I mean it has above average execution but fall down in the details.

Fallout: New Vegas. I know you created the series Obsidian but please just give it back to Bethesda...

Prototype. How the FUCK was that game not fun? You were essentially playing as The Thing.
I loved Prototype and with a bit of polish, it could have been an experience unlike any other. Story needed a real kicking. The biggest disconnect for me was watching the cutscenes portraying Alex as a hero. I'm murdering people, a lot of people. Don't disconnect my gameplay and story.

Final Fantasy XI, I would love to play a version that plays like a traditional FF game in single player.

Bullet witch came out way, way before Bayonetta, but it's so terrible that no one cres that Bayonetta "ripped it off". Besides, Bayonetta took more inspiration from DMC in terms of actual gameplay, the only thing you can actually say Bayonetta ripped off was the loose concept...

Anyway, the game that came to mind is Velvet Assassin. I've played through it three times now, and I have most of the achievements. It isn't unplayable as is or anything, but it could have been much, much better.... The enemy A.I. is so bad that it actually breaks immersion, and there a bunch of stupid little mistakes that the devs made, not to mention some pretty noticeable glitches.

Warhammer 40k Fire Warrior. Brilliant concept, but they game itself didn't actually portray much of the story at all, and the gameplay and graphics were a bit lax, considering other FPS's of it's time, even on console.

For me...has to be World of Warcraft.

Never have I played a game with SO much potential, so much creativity...so much money behind it and in the end thought...wow...this really COULD have been it. Its by no means bad, but I just look at this great world and think...is that it? My crux is that nothing we do in the game mattered, i was just another elf...doing the same tasks...and I didnt feel my presence in the world mattered...heck...whereas Portal, a game with one human, a sadistic robot and a cube made me feel like my role mattered, like I was contributing to something...the fact that WOW, with its millions of players and 100's of hours worth of 'storyline' doesnt is the biggest shame of all.

IMO, Arcanum is the king of this sort of thing. An amazing setting and world, amazing character creation and levelling system, great writing, open ended quests and lots of freedom. But then halfway through it turns into a linear series of dungeons, and the combat is horrendously bad and unbalanced.

If they left out real time combat, used a turn based system much more similar to fallout's, fixed up the balance and ai a bit, added more side quests and larger areas and improved the writing in the later stages, it would probably be the best rpg ever. As it is I still love it, but I can only stand to play it infequently because of the combat
Er Arcanum did have turn based combat, the real time combat was an option, or a neccesity for the horrid mutiplayer mode.

Magicka.

The multilayer is broken beyond belief

Its bug ridden, its laggy, its got sync errors up the arce, connecting to a servers a *****, you'll never connect to a non-Friend and when you do get in game it will explode into a magical glitch spaz out were game killing bugs and crashs contest to see who can D/C the host first.

but when it does work, oh man is it the best 12 seconds of gaming you ever did have. the single player still stands and is full of fantastical fun. The multilayer is not buggy, its broken, it doesn't work. they've sold me a game based on co-op were the co-op is fundamentally broken. I've tryed to buy a meal for two and only gotten one very tasty dish.
