Wouldn't it be great if they made a third Spiderman movie. You know, one that follows the logical plotline that the first two setup and made use of The Lizard as a villain and didn't force Venom into a different villains story.

Ah, perchance to dream.

Yup. Technically, the Megaman Zero series is an alternate to X6 and beyond. Anyone who's played 4 will get how.
No, sadly the Zero series altered itself to include things that happened in X6 and beyond.

Originally, Zero was going to be dead at the end of X5 and stay that way until Ciel finds and revives him in in Z1. However, they later decided that Zero coming back for X6 happened, and Zero later seals himself. Then Zero's original body is stolen, Zero is revived in a copy body to help X fight off Weil (guy who stole Zero's original body for his own purposes), and then Zero seals himself AGAIN and stays there until Ciel finds him in Z1.

So sadly, as much as I would have loved the entire Zero series to pretend that X6 and beyond never existed, it clearly embraces those games as canon. :(
Furthermore I don't know what you think in Z4 says that X6 and beyond never happened. Z3 makes it all quite clear that X6 and beyond did happen, and Z4 does nothing to retcon any of that.
Right, that stuff slipped my mind (I haven't played in a few years). And I didn't mean that it said "X6 didn't happen", I was more pointing out how the biggest reference to the events in the older games was in Zero 4, the station that crashed in X5. I worded it weird, I admit.

The Doctor is not half-human on his mothers' side. He only said that because he was delirious from regenerating.
And The Doctor never got machine gunned right after walking out the TARDIS.

Though I liked Paul McGann as the Doctor. His audio books and radio plays are quite good.
Oh I like him too but yes the movie itself caused me a lot of frustration.

A nightmare on elm street 2, if you've ever seen the movie ... it's just that bad.

What is up with all the Indiana Jones 4 hate? How does 2 get a pass and not 4? 2 is the wost Indiana Jones movie ever made, so bad I find it insulting to the audience that enjoyed 1. Crystal skull should be in more than Temple of Doom.

I let the author tell me what's cannon pretty much. Sometimes they destroy their story by doing that but that's why I call them retarded and move on.
Agreed! As little as I enjoyed the 4th one as an Indy movie (hur hur movie puns), Temple of Doom was downright atrocious. That *****... that *****. Only got the role because she was banging the director. God, she was so annoying.

And something to consider:

Raiders of the Lost Ark = Christian mythology = Awesome movie
Temple of Doom = Weird voodoo stuff = Horrible movie
Last Crusade = Christian mythology = AMAZING movie
Crystal Skull = Aliens (REALLY?) = Decent at best

Methinks me sees a pattern.

Probably going to create some friction among the fanbase, but S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl and Deus Ex 'The Conspiracy' should have been left as stand-alones. With both, loved the originals (read: never uninstalled), HATED the second releases and haven't played the third release (computer slightly too crap for CoP, DX:HR not released)
Invisible War was just retarded, and Clear Sky felt hacked together with a case of 'Look at all our pretty tech!'.
Not being a hipster (whatever that means, I don't think anyone knows) just my personal opinion.

sorry you said they were a terrible design but there is a difference between bad and you not liking it for example: I don't like mass effect but it is a good game. also i was pointing out they improved the game a lot not just a little.

Just going to leave this here, I didn't make it but it was somewhat "lulz-worthy" in my opinion.

OT: Star Fox Command, since I can't really think of anything else right now.

Assasins Creed 2, the majority and specifically the ending, was such Bullshit.

Edit: Also, Hideo Kojima never wrote a bullshit plot twist ending to MGS 3, it ended in the helicopter leaving.

have you ever declared something Non-canon
a series that create a particularly bad sequal that you simply forgot about and pretended the series was already over

im doing this right now the the Ratchet and Clank series who after a stunning and amazing conclusion, are bringing it back as a coop beatem up

im sorry insomiac but your not sucking me into this one
i will go ahead and pretend this one doesnt exist
What? There was no conclusion to that series. Only to the "Future" games which are the first ones to have a story told over multiple games. But the series itself was never meant to be over, the ending of A Crack in Time made that quite clear. I don't know where you got the notion that A Crack in Time was supposed to be the last of Ratchet and Clank for good, but it's quite silly. I also don't know where you're getting your info about All 4 One, but it's not a beat-em up.
firstly it may not be technically a beat em up but that was my impression from the trailer
it looked part of that breed of action games where they put 4 player characters together and send legions of enemies at them

secondly im not against the idea of a sequal to a crack in time, ALL 4 ONE simply comepletly misses the point of the ratchet and clank games they think that simply including Ratchet and Clank gives them a free pass but no
they werent the stars of those games the GAMEPLAY was, based around platforming, big guns, and crazy tech things that dont work very well in what ALL 4 ONE is trying to do

and thirdly Crack in time's ending leaves it open for a sequal but doesnt require one
ratchet's has a goal but one that they have established as impossible in the last game so...what?
i can think of plenty directions the series could go from here
ALL 4 ONE is simply the wrong one in my opinion
