Am I the only one who actually bothered to check if the crack was actually a real thing? Because it's not. All three listed games are at the moment still uncracked...

The DRM itself has been cracked. The games are being tested now.

Which is mentioned in in the OP

The notorious "uncrackable" anti-tamper tech that supposedly has a negative impact on performance has been cracked. It's probably only a matter of days before the games that are using it appear on torrent sites.
and the link in the OP

Before closing, we should note that the Chinese team has cracked the DRM system only. This does not mean that there is any working crack at the moment, however it opens up the road for ones.

I somehow doubt your investigative skills.

Uplay is worse in my opinion. The point I was making that the DRM isn't the 'point' of what Steam is.
Except it is.

Also I never said that I am pro-DRM dude, chill.
Hey, look, telling me to chill because of a point I didn't make. That's not dishonest or anything.

It looks like you are firmly entrenched in your own stance, meaning that any further dialogue will become troublesome and just arguing opinion.

With this, I withdraw from this conversation to prevent any hostilities.

You caused hostility the moment you told me to chill for an argument I didn't make. And you're being disingenuous again, which is not going to make me any more amicable towards you.

I buy my games and then also download cracks for them, if they exist.

Simply because I don't like something I've purchased being dependant on a company maintaining activation servers.

If in 20 years I want to go back and play Mass Effect 3 single player then I shouldn't have to worry about whether EA have kept the servers up.

Well, it's done. DA:I is fully cracked just as predicted. It took a highly anticipated AAA title to get hackers to give a fuck and they did it in less than a month. They just didn't care much for it when it came to FIFA and LoTF, apparently. Now we wait for comparisons. Until then, this serves as a reminder that DRM doesn't work. And when it does, it works only temporarily.

Well at least EA and BioWare made all that money during the first month. I'm sure DA:I was far more successful than DA:O in terms of Sales during that month it took crackers to crack it(sarcasm tingling).

Its been cracked. And guess who got screwed? The paying customer that is stuck with the SSD ruining encryption and Origin (66 Satan incarnated as Softwre)

Honestly, if EA does this one more time, I will start pirating their stuff too... I will uninstall origin, install whatever Hackerbot torrent stuff and start on an epic journey in my pirate shit. I hate you EA you dont deserve my money. I'd rather burn it.
SSD ruining isn't proven as far as I know and Origin == Satan? You're one of those platform war guys so while I don't see any solid evidence its very likely you've got Steam, and people on that referring to origin as Satan is always a good hearty laugh.

Who are you threatening? EA? Game industry? Your forum health Metre? Chill out.

Denuvo damaging SSDs is another myth we can thank NeoGAF for spreading.

The Denuvo crack doesn't remove Denuvo, anyway. It's a loader that feeds Denuvo the information it expects. So the alleged 5% performance overhead is still in effect.

To be honest, I really don't understand why devs still region lock titles.
Usually happens for two reasons - to stop people taking advantage of regional price differences or because of legal issues involving content.
You've got that backwards - it isn't the customer who is taking advantage of regional price differences, it is the publisher, and they are sabotaging their product to do it.

I guess you haven't read the TOU's for Orgin, you sign your soul away to Satan when you agree with their TOU. It's a good thing people are notifying us about this - I don't want my soul to be in hell for all eternity just to use Orgin.

How will the video game industry recover from this? Every copy of a game without stringent DRM is a lost sale, doesn't everyone know?
