It's a rumor, and it probably won't be announced until E3 at the earliest even if it exists.

OT: I dont care about sequels as long as theyre better than thier predecessors. MvC3 is looking to be a massive improvement over MvC2, and DNF is looking to be, perhaps, the best shooter all year.

No Bad Company is a spin off. Battlefield is the original series.

A few years ago. There are loads of Battlefield games. In my opinion the Battlefield games are the best ONLINE shooters games.

Honestly though, it just means companies dont want to take the chance on new things so much as they want to do that trilogy thing thats so popular nowadays (Halo, GoW (Gears and God), um... I think ME3 is supposed to be the last one).

TONS: Bulletstorm, Deus Ex: Human Revolution (You specifically said, "sequel" ), Rage, and Brink off the top of my head. Although unfortunately they're all the EXACT same Genre (FPS-w/-a-twist)

OT: Well, 2009 was FILLED with 2's, and most sequel-games have a two year turnaround..... soooo, frankly I'm just looking forward to 2012 because most story arc trilogies will end, (Mass Effect, Uncharted, Killzone, Assassin's Creed, you-get-the-drift), so maybe we can get some New IP's although, as to be fair, the ones this year (look above) seem like they'll be pretty sweet!

Oh I wasnt even counting this year. There's really nothing outside of Last Guardian and Pokemon B/W that interests me so far (except that Alice game). I'm just pumped for some Persona 5 action. And Catherine of course, assuming it gets to the states.

Im sorry is going haha i know something you dont when asked a question not considered rude these days? I have only played one of the elder scrolls games and thought it sucked quite badly. So no I actually have no clue at all what your avatar was from and im betting that anybody who could actually pick it out would already know about the elder scrolls game coming out this year. Hence you acting like a childish prick and me calling you out on it.

The whole purpose of this site is to express opinion. My opinion is that I was surprised you haven't heard. I wasn't saying you were wrong for not knowing.
If a friend came up to me and said "I can't believe you haven't heard that The Elder Scrolls 5 is coming out this year!" I would not turn around and go "How dare you!"
