when i was a senior in high school they kinda figured that I was having sex with my gf and seeing as no one got pregnant and i havent gotten VD, they know i figured it out. Thank god that awkwardness was avoided

at first it started in grade four ( i was nine at the time i believe) but none of us took it seriously and we laughed at all the terms our teacher told us.

then we had more in depth later on in school so my parents had no need to also i would have ran like i have never ran before away from the situation.

No, My parents did not talk to be about sex.
Well, at least not until after I'd already had it.
Thankfully, nothing bad happened, I am not a father of a kid i'm not ready to take care of, and I don't have any unwanted STD's.
yeah, I only stick with the cool STDs too.

I have never heard of that actually happening in real life. I've seen it in cartoons and TV series but that's it. I think it's an American tradition maybe U.K. too.

I learned it from friends and media.

I was book-smart on sex and reproduction by the age of 9 out of pure curiosity.

I didn't really need talking to.

Not that I actually received the talk, mind.

I learned about sex mainly from Stephen King books. Which is possibly why I'm so fucked up these days.

No. Thank God. Managed to avoid that cringe-fest. Now I have AIDS, its a small price to pay.

Nooooooooooo - thank God!

Sex ed. lessons did just fine, although you pick most things up from your mates anyway (and after a while you learn how to sieve through the bullshit).

Not yet and I hope they never do :|

I think they know I'm smart enough to know how to handle it responsibly anyway...hopefully...

No. My Dad tried to once. I stopped him mid sentence and walked away. Who needs a parents advice when I have the internet?

With a pinch of salt and tongues in cheeks, yes. Mostly my dad mocking me by giving terrible advice such as wear 2 condoms etc.

They didn't, thank Tarim. Who would want their parents to talk about that kind of stuff?

Nope. But then no one would ever have sex with me in a billion years so it would seem kinda pointless.

Y'know that bit in Ghostbusters where one character is the Gate-Keeper, and the other is the Key-Master? That's when it all finally clicked for me.

Never got the talk, and by the time I ended up in a class where they talked about it I already knew everything there was to know. Yay for having the internet.
