They never bothered, the education system covers pretty much all of it (with an emphasis on the DON'T HAVE SEX! YOU WILL GET PREGNANT, HAVE A BABY WITH AIDS AND THEN DIE!).

Also the fact that, being the youngest member of my family, my parents baby me quite a bit made them not really up to the task.

Same here. I already read a lot, I guess they just figured it'd be a lot easier.

My school, on the other hand, utterly FAILS at sex education. Just, just....it's pathetic. We did get TMI pics of STDs, tho...my eyes....

My parents, who are very religious and protective, told me about sex and how it's one of the best things ever.

The only sex talks I've gotten out of my parents boil down to 'stay away from CP' and 'don't sleep with minors.'

Funny, I really wondered why your parents advised you to stay away from command points until I got it...

Personally I've never had any sort of 'talk' and I'm happy about missing the awkward.
