So does mean we get Jonas Brothers and Hannah Montana cameo's all the time, and there is always a moral to the story?

I can see it now...

Captain America apologises to the Nazis

New York, USA: Captain America recently sent a sincere apology to the Nazi party for injuring several of their members during the second world war.

"Well, I thought, since I work for them now, I might as well be on good terms with them", stated Captain America at a press release yesterday.

Blah blah blah
Well I think that Stan Lee might need a bigger wallet (damn this noose, not staying together!), but he will probably die of shock once he realises what disney is gonna do to the characters he created. Marvel was famous for having characters with real life problems, instead of being great people with great morals (which is why I originally thought that Watchmen was a Marvel comic). Disney, however, idealises everything to a fault, even that death for good people is not permanent and that death for bad people always involves gravity.

Supposedly, Disney wants a greater hold on the young male demographic. I honestly think that the reason that young children conform to their gender stereotypes so much is because they are conditioned as such (something I will definitely experiment with if/when I have kids). Since Disney controls children's minds with an iron grip, then it shouldn't be too difficult to change all children to want to be princesses, so this was mostly Disney getting one step closer to turning Mickey Mouse into Big Brother.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO NOT MARVEL! DAMN YOU DISNEY! DAMN YOU TO HELLL!

actually what will happen to deadpool? he isnt "Childish" enough for disney
Actually, Disney doesn't just do children's things. They also own ESPN and ABC, who has shows such as Lost, Desperate Housewives, CAstle, and 20/20, among others. While I'm not happy they bought Marvel, I'm willing to bet good, large amounts of money that they'll leave most of the characters alone, not just immediately kidify everything. Deadpool, I'm sure, will not start dancing with Mickey Mouse anytime soon. I just don't think people should freak out too soon. As soon as Wolverine starts making out with Minnie, then I'll be the first person to take up a pitchfork and lead the mob. Until then, I think wait and see would be a good approach. Disney's very, very good at making money, and I think n if they kidified everything Marvel does, there would be a major loss in revenue, so it just wouldn't make any sense business-wise.

First I hear about the Prince of Persia movie... now this!? When will Disney stop trying to taint the souls of children by destroying everything we love? (exaggeration). Marvel was just starting to evolve into something really amazing (has been for a while). Now they'll probably be desensitized to child-friendly cartoons again. LAME!

I smell crossover! Iron Man and Ducktales anyone? Scrooge could build a far superior mech suit with all of his cash, but I want to see Launchpad drive it... God, I'm a loser.

Here's a good question

Universal Studios have a whole section devoted to Marval. With the rides: "Stormforce" "Hulk" "Spiderman" "Doctor Doom's Free Fall". Will they have to destroy them or something?

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Fuck you Disney. Why the hell are you buying into comic books when you're best known for kids movies that were only good when your chain smoking, antisemetic founder was making them.

this isn't all bad, disney (especially in the Pixar branch of things) have made excellent movies, and further attempts such as Pirates of the Carribean (the first was actually pretty good) and National Treasure (once again had a better first then second) have made for pretty good movies that have been (mildly) more mature. I think now that they have all these awesome worlds and characters to explore, they won't need to make terrible sequels and can just pump out good stuff on a regular basis.

Just my thought.

Well, I think anything would be better to replace what they have on that channel now.

Hell, maybe it'll bring comic book heroes back again to topple the Goliath that is Hanna Montana.

Wow, it hurts to type that name.

But I do fear for the quality in which they broadcast our great heroes.
