A lot of people have said Red Dead Redemption. I don't have it yet (it's on my list), but don't forget the first one. Even the loading screens in that one oozed awesomeness.

From the presence of a 4X strategy game and several point-and-click adventures in that list you may surmise that my preconditions for awesomeness are not like other people's.

The Just Cause 2 demo, I have over seven hours on it. I don't know about getting the full game, though, I probably will.

You should, I spent 12 hours in the demo and over 50 in the main game.

Come to think of it, Just Cause 2 is just that awesome that the whole game qualifies.

Yeah true that is lotsa fun, both games have good aspects, prototype with it's gore and mutated peoples and stuff, and inFAMOUS with it's good/evil choosability, different power effects and stuff for each storyline, prototype was cool but I can't get enough of inFAMOUS, you'll love it

Fallout 3. Test firing the Experimental MIRV in Megaton. There were no survivors.

Mass Effect 2. The entire last hour.

Call of Duty 4. All Ghillied Up.

Modern Warfare 2. The entire campaign.

Stuffed Bear + Machine Gun = Freedom Bear (A teddy bear that looks like Rambo as a desployable sentry turret)
RC Helicopter + Bowie Knife = Heliblade (A L4D pipe bomb, except it hovers and decapitates zombies)

The first time I beat Ganon in Ocarina of time made me feel that way too.
