I have never faked being sick for staying home, in fact I have sometimes even gone to school with a mild fever.

Shit back when I used to go to school, I never wanted to be there. So I usually just went somewhere else. I used to hang out at pool halls, tattoo parlors and comic book stores all fuckin day. Even got a job at the pool hall from being there so much. Yep school is for suckers. Making excuses to not go to a sucker-fest, well... I'll let you all decide.

Sometimes, but only if I actually have some form of mild illness that I can exaggerate.

It doesn't do me any good though, I learned that the hard way today when I got my chemistry test back.

So I won't be doing that trick again...

Sometimes I pretend but I don't feel bad about it, but can't do it afford to do it too much...

The closest I've ever come is maybe using a slightly less serious illness, I'm too honest (read: bad at lying) to actually fake being sick. Besides, my high school is psychotic about attendance, even with real illness.

I did when I was younger, now I'm in Sixth Form and I get to sign out of school without having to clear it with Matron first I put all sorts of wacky excuses: 'The cake is a lie', 'my fingernails are looking at me funny', 'need to go align my chakras' etc. Ms. Stieffel - the attendance officer - is awesome though, whenever I put down a stupid excuse she just marks it down as an excused absence. So basically if anyone ever checked the paper records instead of just relying on the digital ones they'd think I had been excused from school for ninja classes or because my aura needed cleansing.
I never got to skip school to align MY chakras...

Nope, never faked illness back in school days.

And now at the uni, there not much of a point as no-one cares if you the classes or not. Well, the language teachers care, because if we skip over 20% of lessons we get an instant FAIL for the course and have to retake it again next semester. But they are pretty much the exception.

I'm paying for my education and my tutor likes me. I just call him at six in the evening and say "Yeah, I just didn't turn up today. Sorry."

No faking for me :D

I did it a lot in high school. I was bullied quite a bit.

Also, I usually skipped church, when we went to the service from the school.
