Occasionally. I don't make a habit out of it. I much prefer to just say: I'm not going today. Always works.
Yeah, that's what I do, don't make a production out of it, just go:

"I have like nothing going on in school today, I am exhausted, I don't think I am going to go today"

It worked for me, then again, I am sure a lot of the reason it worked is because I maintained a B+ average (It said B+ as my average on my college transcript, I was a FREAKING 4.99 (our school uses a weird scale) POINT ZERO ONE FROM AN A- AVERAGE, LOL) despite my absences.

no, I did forge signatures from my parents stating that I was sick and couldn't come if that counts?

I regularly skipped my final year English class because my teacher was a complete moron. Though I did not need to fake being sick, I instead managed to convince him I was infact in class and he had no idea what he was talking about. Which on most topics was true.

Used to, but now it's getting important as it's my last year of secondary school, so I'd be better off actually learning something.

I used to stutter very badly (and I still do to an extent, but only very mildly). I would skip school on days when I had to do a individual presentation to the class. To be honest it was the teachers fault for being so ignorant when I tried to explain to them why I couldn't do it for fear of people imitating me (which they sure did when I first read a paragraph from a book out loud). My parents were pretty OK with the reason though, they could probably tell that I was faking but they knew the real reason was valid. However now in my GCSEs I really can't afford to be off when I'm not ill, and just tell the ignorant teachers "no" when they want me to do public speaking.

I've exaggerated an illness that wouldn't normally get me off school, once or twice, but I don't totally fake stuff.

I would, but then my parents would call up the doctor, who would find nothing wrong with me.

I would promptly get grounded.

I used to do it in Elementary and Middle School. But in High School it wasn't worth it. Always had to much make-up work to do.

At my school we could exempt exams if our attendance was good enough.

So yeah, people came even if they were sick

Never played hooky. Ever. There were times I stayed home (sick) and I probably could have went to school, but I still felt bad.

I only did it once or twice to work on a project or something... not sure if that was me being tricky or just the perfectionist I was when I was younger

No never. I have only skipped school twice, once in first grade and once to go to dreamhack a couple of weeks ago. And that was only because i couldnt get a signature from a teacher.

I go to school even if I am sick.. But then again, I don't understand how people can skip in school though.. Doesn't make sense to me.
