Most certainly Baba O Reilly by The Who.

An excellent song to walk to when you're listening to it on headphones, and pretend you're in a film and have just accomplished something.

Basically any Alestorm song. Especially one of these: Wenches and Mead, Nancy the Tavern Wench, Keelhauled, That Famous Ol' Spiced, The Huntmaster and No Quarter.
Curse you.

I was just going to reply with:

"WITH A HI HI HO AND A HI HI HEE!"

And see how many got it.

But yeah, I can't listen to ANY Alestorm song and still be pissed off.

agreed. i petition the dictionary definition of "epic" be changed to include this song.

otherwise "Bonzo goes to bitburg" by the ramones is just amazing when it reaches the chorus.

Well its Power Metal with many extreme influences, they are often labeled as Melodic Death Metal, but thats incorrect, and this subgenre is often mislabled due to many of the bands switching to Alternative Metal.

But COB is Extreme Power Metal.
It is speed/death-metal with power influences. Power metal has clear vocals, always.
There is no such thing as "melodic death metal". It's a humbug term invented by littel kids to stand out from an overcrowded metal scene.
There is no such thing as extreme power metal either. See above. The definitive characteristic of power metal are clear, high vocals.
To understand what the band's genre is, you have to know what they statred playing and how it has evolved. COB started with pure death metal, slowly adding electonics, keyboards and whiny emo lyrics.

Now you might call me a tasteless bastard here... But I have to admit that I like Children of Bodom's cover on Rebell Yell better than the original.

Is there anyone who agree's with me on this or am I alone in this?

Usually it's depressing music that puts me in a good mood... which is odd. There's no single song though for me.

Ghost Love Score by Nightwish.

Strangely, while many wouldn't consider the lyrics to be all that inspiring, I find the epicness of the song and lyrics give me a 'Let's do this' kind of feeling. For some reason it always makes me see the bright side of things.

Glitter in the Air by Pink.

It's not even an especially "happy" song but it's just so.. well. It just makes me feel so much better about like everything and anything

The New Pornographers are the ultimate happy band. Case in point:

Hopefully at least one person out there will understand why I always leap on every possible opportunity to post this song.
