I see nothing wrong with guys in eyeliner, but then I'm one of those strange girls who finds it oddly sexy when my boyfriend lets me do his makeup... =D

It seems to me that guys are the ones who don't think other guys should wear makeup, but who are you trying to impress in the end, the boys who give you shit or the people who accept it and get on with their lives?

I usually use a primer before I put on eye makeup, but that would probably be weird if you're not using eyeshadow since it's typically not the same shade as your skin. Either that or use a liquid liner, they tend to stay on longer and have more precise and sharp lines.

Ah scene kids...Be alternative by not doing what everyone else is doing -.-

I can remember once I was at a gig and two girls had the same top on with the quote - "You hate me because I am different, I hate you because your all the same."

Oh how I laughed.
I'd prefer "You hate me because we are all the same, I hate you because you're different."

Conformity, fuck yeah!

Not yet, but I'm looking for corpse paint. Good on ya man, I get some shit for wearing girls skinny jeans. Despite the fact that it is impossible to find guys skinny jeans that actually fit. Anyway, I just ignore them, I figure if they wanna make fun of me to try and feel tough they can go ahead. It seems like you've reached basically the same conclusion, yes?

I'm not really a fan of make-up, for either gender. I think the key thing is that it shouldn't be immediately obvious that you are wearing it, else you are using too much. When someone goes overboard it's frankly a bit creepy, like their face might rub off if you touch it.

Most make up looks disturbing. I have no desire or need for it, I am already amazingly beautiful. Men wearing make up looks far stranger than women doing it. This probably has to do with the shape of their head, rather than the more obvious fact that they aren't rippling with testosterone.

I wear eyeliner, sometimes liquid, someitmes pencil, as well as red and/or black nail polish. I'm a man.

Funny thing about stereotypes. I went to Japan for a one year exchange and all the Chinese students and 50% or the Japanese assumed that I was gay. Just because of the nail polish. Go figure :p

I've always seen make-up as something for girls, not really for guys. I have no problem with other guys wearing it and I don't judge them for it, but I don't wear it myself. I have done though, but that's only when acting on stage, in my day-to-day life I don't.

Here's a good rule of thumb. Wait on makeup until you start shaving on a regular basis. Doesn't matter if you're a boy or a girl.

No, I don't like it on anyone, to be honest. Though I do care about my appearance, I have just never even considered wearing it.

With the chance of sounding like a bigot/ignoramus/jerk I must state this:

Well... No. Since I'm a man, and with that not a whiny emo/goth/scene kid, nor homosexual. I do not wear makeup.
Sometimes you just can't put the truth in a more sensible form.
+1 to this.

I don't quite understand the reason why some people are so overly protective of their 'masculinity' when it comes to make up. If you want to wear it then you should! It all about freedom of expression. Besides, guys who can pull off eyeliner really have a good quality about them, in my opinion anyway.

also is there a way to make eyeliner stay on longer? by the end of the day its always rubbed off and i'm to embarassed to ask anyone else
Two words: waterproof eyeliner. Never fails.
(Oh, and I guess I should add I'm a girl? That doesn't matter but I should probably throw it in there since everyone's making a big deal about gender.)

I (a dude) love wearing nail polish, but I don't wear make-up that often. Not that it never happens, but it's not common.

If we can wear it so can you :]

I'm a girl and I don't really wear make up though, but I know guys who do, 'guyliner' and foundation. There's nothing wrong with it. There are some girls in my school who look orange. Not tanned, not sunkissed, orange, and every time the bell rings they reapply, and when it rains the colour all washes into their white shirts. When makeup goes bad it shouldn't be aloud on either sex.

Truth is its up to you.

No I don't wear makeup. I already look a bit like a twat, I don't need to get people's attention to my eyes or my lips. My gf doesn't wear it either, but she does this ridiculous thing with her eye lashes, she gets a clamp and tries to make them curl upwards. Like who the fuck is gonna notice if her eye lashes are curling up or going horizontal? People are too worried about themselves to notice other people.

I'm a guy, and nope never. Don't think I ever will either - not that I'm especially against it but I think it looks a little odd on guys.
