It COULD be Gallifrey, but a proto-Gallifrey. River Song obviously knows how the TARDIS works, so she could make it drag a planet without six pilots. Plus, Amy obviously knows something, even a little, because she was supposed to land the TARDIS. Every Dr. Who enemy could be converging on it because when Gallifrey emerges from the Pandorica the Time Lords as we know them may not exist yet, but they can see through the TARDIS cloaking device due to some wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff and be inspired to create them, essentially making The Doctor both the creator and destroyer (twice) of Gallifrey. The Gallifrey that the Doctor creates creates the Doctor, and that's why the Mighty Morphin' Power Daleks and every major Dr. Who villain are trying to stop it.

Or it could be a Piece of Eden. :p Just for laffs.
thats actually quite a good theory

Pandora's box... when they said "the blood of a... whatever" did anyone else go "The Doctor". Seriously that would be a hell of a twist, the rip in space time coming from The Doctor freeing himself from Pandora's box.
Yup that would be class. Maybe the Valeyard is trapped in there :p

It could be another TARDIS and all races want one :O and the doctor i.e. the trickster that made it locked it in there in case his TARDIS ever died and he hid in in the box so only he could open it :O:O:O:O:O:O that's not a bad theory if i do say so :p

EDIT: with the TARDIS fragment from the Silurian episode i think i might be on to something :x

She might just get the wrong impression, or, she might remember Rory

I have seen the sarah jane adventures once(yes i even watch the spin-offs) and there was a villain called the trickster, who warps time and allows people to cheat death, sometimes leading to global disasters like meteor crashes and the likes, The 10th doctor made an appearance in The episode(btw he hands out black boxes for people to make these people cheat death, ones that look like miniature versions of pandorica) so maybe pandorica holds the key to immortality and all the monsters are converging on it to get the ultimate power(or something)

Obviously
yeah this, He needs a proper send-off, I could UNDERSTAND the sentance in the book which said he had died

If the Ood appear again I'm gunna fucking kill someone. Same with Rose, Torchwood and Donna. They should really keep a lid on that now that 10 is dead.
Moffat has already said he isn't bringing back any old companions
What???!!! WAaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!!
You did not know this I assume?

He said before the specials started that he wouldn't bring back any old companions.

Which is unfortunate because I would have liked to see the chemistry between Matt Smith and John Barrowman!

Also i know you're all thinking it but no one's mentioned how it's almost Pandora's Box. It could contain something so chaotic that all races fear it and join together to destroy it.
Interesting theory (I think that the Pandorica name definately is a hint that it's like Pnadora's Box).
I think that deifinately everyone will want rid of what's in it, but also, if we're taking the Pandora's Box line, some form of human weakness may open it (that would be interesting viewing right?) and contained within will be all evil (so perhaps representatvies so to speak of all evil, daleks, cybers, etc).
Just a theory. I'm eger to find out the true outcome to the series!

I remember reading somewhere (wiki, I think) that Billie Piper coming back for a few episodes is official. I hate the idea, but there might be a chance to make something interesting out of it.

Bleh! I would have preferred John Barrowmen

By the way, love the avatar ;)

Heh, thanks. Right back at ya. ;) (And here I was sure that everyone would be annoyed by my avvie's loopy-ness but I guess not.)

Btw, I love the fact that we have a LostTimeLady in the thread. Now all we're missing are a few Daleks and we're all set.

Part of me dreads what I'm thinking...

Remember that one off character "Donna the bride" played in that one episode? Do you remember how she became a companion?

And they have left a thread hanging from James Corden....I hope he's not a new sidekick...
Do not think that!

Erase it from your mind!
