Be great if it's just Tom Baker in the Pandorica..

Walks out, punches Matt Smith in the face. Then takes over as The Doctor from now on! :D
yes.. just YES! (and very YES to punching teenage skeletor in the face!)

here's hoping its not just some "weapon capable of destroying the universe" cop-out in there.
Oh no! PLease dont be some really boring weapon I hope its something just like rose...

Well given that they showed an orgy of villains, mentioned an orgy of villains, an orgy of villains has been confirmed, I am going to assume an orgy of villains is what we're going to get.

And I was also wondering if River Song would be Rani, Moffat and Davis both said they wanted to bring her back but I'm not sure that it will turn out that way.
Ooooooooohhhhh.... That would be good if River was the Rani using a fobwatch and then she opens it changes history causing the big bang! YAY!

I just had an idea Davros is in the Box! Because Russel T Davies said that he didnt want to be the director to kill Davros.

I didn't like it. The upstairs villain was a poor amalgmation of old Doctor Who villains.. But the comedy scenes were good.

And on the subject of next week ZOMG ZOMG WANT WANT. Here's betting that that box contains everyone ever absorbed by a crack...
I won't believe that Rory would die so casually... I won't believe he's gone.... -sniff-
And if this war is anything as epic as when Daleks fought cybermen, but with the added bonus of Karen Gillan then... well.....
Ooohhh, that could be bad. Rory wasn't the only thing to fall into the crack. The angels would be there too.
Ouch the thought of more angels. Aaaaaaaaaahhh!!!! *Screams* i think Moffat overdid the angels

Thinking about it now... the angels r losing their touch, starting to bug me and r now just plain boring.

There are two things I dislike about this new Doctor Who series.

The first is how unsubtly the cracks in the wall are being revealed. The current format remains steady at 'Adventure happens, then at the end of the adventure they find a crack in the wall and ponder on it.' It's annoying and predictable. Just once I'd like to see them run past a giant crack in the wall halfway through the episode but not notice it because they are being chased by the giant alien space monster.

The second is how you can't do anything else when they're on except sit and watch Doctor Who. The action flashes by so fast and an incredible amount of techno-babble gets crammed into such a tiny space that if you aren't paying 100% attention for 100% of the time then you miss something crucial. Given that they are usually on around the time I'm trying to prepare and eat dinner, this leads to me knowing very little apart from 'The Doctor has won and there's a crack in the wall.'

That aside I like the characters and think the writing when it isn't just infodumping on us is of a high standard. I like this new Doctor and think now he's starting to find his feet he is going to be comparable favourably to David Tenant. I like Amy Pond though i feel sometimes she gets used more as a plot device than a character, and I think the resolution will of course be gripping and epic and worth staying up late and posting on facebook et al about.

This episode did feel just a little bit meh to me though. This time everything flashed by so fast I didn't even care. Camera work was good though.
I know what you mean like hearing Bad Wolf, Torchwwod and Mr Saxon was kind of hidden away you know only if you wanted to find it. Except for Bad Wolf where Rose and the Doctor found out very late in the series. ( In Boom Town 3rd last Episode.)

There's a rumour going around that the Original Cybermen will show up and not the Remade Cybusmen.
And what metal is "the ring" made from? Gold?

There's rumours that at one point they're going to be doing an episode of Dr. Who which features every single Doctor ever (or rather, accurate representations of them). Cameos of some older doctors have been appearing all over the place this series, and what could POSSIBLY be a more dramatic point to place every single doctor ever?

The explosion of the TARDIS, every single major Dr. Who enemy ever converging on one place and time, pieces of space and time that should never exist crashing together and the ensuing cracks deleting people from the time-line and a VERY high River Song density, as well as the frequent referrals to the most feared man in the universe?

If the Ood appear again I'm gunna fucking kill someone. Same with Rose, Torchwood and Donna. They should really keep a lid on that now that 10 is dead.

How dare you Rose is awesome!!

In the finale I'm expecting the following to happen=
1.rory is alive and ther's an awkward scene where the doctor introduces amy to rory(cause of th mind wipe)
2.Pandorica is obviously opened accidentally by the doctor(or river song)
3.river song ALMOST kills the doctor because, to be honest river song wont know him if she kills him
4.All the monsters from the past 5 years attack, The daleks(evil wheely bin/power ranger rip-offs that they are)kick some serious ass, probably killing the weeping angels or sontorans single handedly, leading to a sort of daleks vs united alliance of evil(yay more power rangers references)thing happening and

What was it? :D
There's also his ID badge that said he got his Nurses Training on 30th November 1990?
Curiouser and curiouser.
if that conspiracy theory is true then a huge paradox is probably created, making the universe say,Ok, fuck this, and then explodes in that part of itself, meaning nothing that Russel T Davies did on the show existed and we can just get on with the show.
P.S
Oh yeah and the doctor is probably gonna die in it somehow but someone(probably rory)just somehow take his place.
Not only was his badge issued in 1990, the cars in that episode were from 1990 and 2005+

Mmmm Hmmm! I reckon somethin will happen blah blah blah rory kinda dies but gets sent back 2 1990's etc.

Well, better late than never to stick my ore in and tell everyone one what I thought:
The premise was excellent although the whole
perception filter thing is getting over-used a little. Maybe this is one of those hints deelies that Stephen Moffat's been talking about that link into the finale.

I definately prefer this episode to the 10th Doctor episode 'Love and Monsters' which gave the Doctor about 5 minutes of screen time and although, again, good premise, I would count it as that series' weaker/est episode.

Also, has anyone noticed that the Doctor can act perfectly normal any time, have a civil, normal conversation with any human being or alien in the universe but the second you take away [spolier]his companion, TARDIS and Screwdriver[/spoiler] he becomes totally alien.
Anyone else notice that, or has everyone noticed that and said earier on the thread?

But anyway
Ring!!! Ahhhh! Does Amy remember Rory, does Amy think the ring is going to be given to her from the Doctor, does Amy think the ring is for River?!?! WHAT! I demand answers. Also, Pandorica! (Apart from looking awesome and sinister as a black cube) what is in it, what does this have to do with the TARDIS in pieces, the cracks et al. I DEMAND ANSWERS!!!)
