Davros' death was never shown on screen deliberately, as Russell T Davies said he didn't want to kill off one of The Doctor's greatest enemies.

Pretty much that means Davros is alive and will return, its just a question of when.

I almost thought for a minute that the Daleks came out of the box and I was like "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!".
I thought that too, and rolled my eyes - they do roll them out for every finale ever.

Anyway, I haven't watched it for like 2 years, and I caught up on this series last week as I had nothing else to watch.

Gotta say I did like it.

There's only one way I see them getting out of this.

TENNANT TO THE RESCUE!

Ending made me say What. The. Fack.

How can they come back from
every single star supernova'ing destroying the whole of existance?

Also, what did the stone wall infront of the TARDIS door mean?
Want my guess?

Amy's wall.

Fuck you, I'm over in America and hadn't even seen the fucking episode and you go ahead and ruin it for me. FUCK YOU!!
To be fair, you'd think you'd know by the first line of the OP. I would say your idiocy triumphed opposed to the lack of spoiler posts.

Regardless, it does say "(Spoilers)" in the title.

I thought it was a superb episode, also I must say that iplayer is an absolute life saver, I would have missed so many episodes without it.

Also my bet is that Davros is behind the 'universe explosion thing', based solely on the voice.

Super fantastic! Out of all the things I loved about it the very end where the music stops mid-note was a lovely touch.

Who wanted the message inscribed in the cliff to read "Sorry for the Inconvenience"?

EDIT: Oh and I was at work while it was on so I watched it on iPlayer when I got home. The whole build up with the painting and a message through time and you finally get to see the painting aaaannnndddd... Blue Screen of Death. The final frame before you see the painting and a god damn BSOD! I fear my computer is becoming a sentient being, and its got my sense of humour.

Maybe a stupid question but, if the Pandorica is a tale derived from Amy's memories of Pandora's Box, then how did the doctor hear of the fairytale of the Pandorica?
Presumably the idea was seeded back through time in order to set him up. By Davros. In order to trick the universe into rallying against The Doctor. So that Davros could hack the TARDIS and blow up the universe.

See, easy!
Your basing this entirely on the fact that Davros is the big bad guy of the season? :p
Yes, seeing as that was almost certainly his voice we heard in the TARDIS the moment it started going crazy. Also the whole "making the Doctor look like the villain" thing that's going on here is uncannily like what Davros did last time when he made the Doctor realise he made people into killers. Oh and the whole "destruction of the entire omniverse" thing too.

Yep, definately sounds like Davros to me.
It better frak not be.
In other news remember when Davros was being died (grammar win) and he said "Doctorrrr, I am the Champion of Time" and Tennant's face was like "OH FUCK"
I think that was a webcomic.

In the words of River: IT'S A TRAP!!!1!!
Admiral Ackbar would have noticed sooner. :)

But yeah, interesting episode, we all pretty much know the outcome but it's the HOW that's going to make the difference in this.

Just finished watching. How the hell is the Doctor going to find his way out of this one? I can't believe they wouldn't show a preview of the next episode.

I'm sad...
I'm really rather anxious for next weeks ep, the finale, the great explainer!
...Except I'll be stuck in America and won't get to see it for weeks.
I'm going to go cry in a corner now.

Can't wait to see how the Doctor gets out of this one!
£5 says Auton-Rory helps!
A further £5 says he goes into some maniacal/emotional rage and he gets shot down after trying to shoot the place up :p

My god that was unreal!! Seriously I knew Moffat was good, but that was... spectacular. I've only got two theories for how the next episode goes:

1. It was the doctor controlling the Tardis from within the Pandorica (In the future), the cracks in time let him escape and then there is day saving.. somehow.

2. It was the Valelord (I think that's how it's spelt) controlling the Tardis and they're all F***ed.

P.S Did anyone notice that the all important date (26th of June 2010) is next saturday, the day of the finale, good foreshadowing or what?
Its the Valeyard. And that would be difficult as the Valeyard IS the Doctor.

They should have taken the theme tune out of the end credits.

That would have been really terrifying.

Overall, I would say that it was a brilliant episode, ending montage was probably the best part of the whole post 2005 season.
