Thoughts?

I thought it was one of my favourite episodes so far

Thoughts on the Doctor seeing the Dream Lord in the TARDIS console at the end?

Quotes of the episode:

"There is something here that doesn't make sense..... lets go poke it with a stick!"

and this:

"If we're going to die, let's die looking like a Peruvian folk band"

It was pretty awesome, I'm interested to see how they build on the end

I really enjoyed it.

I really liked at the end where the Doctor catches the reflection of the Dream Lord in the Tardis Console possibly implying that it still may be a dream.

I also loved the army of old people laying seige upon the house.

It was good yeah, would like to see the dream lord more. Good ep.

Wasn't surprised by any of it though, but it was still good.

Or that the Dream Lord could be a real enemy and the Doctor wasn't telling the whole truth

I agree, this was a really good episode. One of the best so far i think, next week doesn't look as interesting but it should still be good.

Why doesn't the Doctor ever get a girl? :( I feel sorry for him.

Definitely shows the new direction the new series is taking. I also liked the killer old people :)

Actually the end was a bit predictable when you realise it's the old poisoned cup scenario.

OOOOHH MY GAHD, IT WAS THE BEST THING I'VE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE!

In all seriousness, I thought this was the best episode of the series so far. If all the episodes after this one are as good, then it looks like we've got a rival to series 3, my personal favourite.

Great episode but I have the strangest feeling I have seen a very similar episode in another tv series?

Damn Boredguy lay off the post button, it only takes the one click...

I personally was really hoping that the small town dream was the reality.

However the way they handled it was pretty damn clever.

Ah, great way to put it! That really sums up what I thought, and in the end, I would have drunk the poisoned cup, I didn't see the ending coming, although it makes sense after you've watched it.

All in all, an interesting character study and a great episode. I guessed that the dream lord might be the doctor though, it's all about the bow ties.

Jesus, Boredguy, how did you manage that?

Anyway, I liked it, but the OAP army didn't seem like a credible threat. It was a pretty good concept though.

I clicked the post button, then when the post process screen didn't load I tried refreshing it a few times. Needless to say, I'm an idiot.

Or maybe that the Dream Lord's physical representation of the Doctor's negativity and self hatred is closer to the surface than was previously thought.

I would have accepted that if his negativity and self hatred was phased in a bit more, but they have just suddenly dropped it on us.

I hope they develop it more in a later episode/series and don't include it in this series' finale.

Holy crap I just thought of something. The Dreamlord seemed like an evil version of the Doctor, or at least one who is less morally strong. A character who sounds a lot like The Valeyard .

Now, while this is unlikely, and yeah, does contradict the information on that page slightly, I think it would be amazing if they linked the two characters somehow.

I am intrigued. I hope that they will keep to the canon and introduce this character between the 12th and final Doctor. Maybe this is a glimpse of what is to come

I'd doubt it. The so called 'final doctor' is one canon I can see the BBC easily ignoring.

Fix'd

OT: It was bloody brilliant, one of the best episodes in a while.
