I really enjoyed that episode. I was rather disappointed that the last Cybermen part of the episode seemed a bit rushed. But in general I thought it was well written. Maybe it's because it wasn't written by Steven Moffat...

The next episode really looks interesting. I wonder how they will avoid the Doctor's death. Even though it's set up to link to episode 1 and seems that River does indeed kill him!

And Stormageddon is cool.

Oh and here is the prequel video for next weeks episode, titled "The Wedding of River Song"

Oh and a theory about the eye patches worn by everyone in the prequel; they contain images of the Silence so that they are never removed from the persons memory. Allowing them to work with/for them without forgetting. Just a thought.

I liked the episode. I enjoyed the return of the Doctor "speaking baby" and I think after "The girl who waited" this is my favourite episode of Series 6.2

I wear a Stetson now. Stetsons are cool.

Interesting episode and great to see the Cybermats return! But I get the feeling it was another of those filler episodes that tries to entice with a half baked story centered around a recognisable villain when all it's really about is building up for the finale. A shame really.

The second half of this series has felt disjointed and weak generally, nothing like the previous Smith series. Perhaps it's something to do with this whole split series thing. The first half built up brilliantly to the wonderful mid series finale but they somehow lost the sense of momentum by padding it out with unrelated episodes. Hopefully an epic series finale will pull it back from the brink.

Dammit, thread ninja'd, I had just made my one!

Anyway, I found it better than expected and I loved the scene with what Amy had turned into. My only gripe was that it did'nt really feel like a 12th episode, it felt like the main plot should of been in the middle of the series.

Hilariously written episode. Both endings were a little OTT and naff though.
Fantastic editing on that trailer too.

Reckon this must count as one of only a handful of times in watching Who that I genuinely cannot wait for next week's episode.

It was cool seeing modern Cybermats, but I didn't really care for this episode. The Cybermen plot just seemed a bit tacked on just for the last five minutes of set-up for the next episode.

I really liked it. I'm much preferring Matt Smith's portrayal of his impending doom than David Tennant's, although that could just be the writing. I thought Tennant's was overplayed, this is much more compelling. Even James Corden wasn't bad, although the climax seemed a little rushed, but I did actually think Craig was going to die/get 'upgraded', so that was good.

Okay good points: Cybermen, Cybermat (i particularly liked the new cybermats, espicially the the teeth which give a cool constrast).

And the Bad Points: Rushed ending and James Corden (i cannot stand him).
Otherwise most of my irritation with this season is that it just feels insubstantial, and leaves me wanting something more from Doctor Who, but then again i may have been spoilt by watching 'Tomb of the Cybermen' earlier today (which is awesome classic Dr. Who)

Overall not a bad episode but i just want more from the show.

Also, I can't help but notice that the Cybermen have just been used as a novelty plot-device since that two-parter in the second series of New-Who. They deserve more in my opinion.

I liked it. It was funny but the ending was very rushed. I'm looking forward to the episode next week but I don't like River Song.

First episode since they restarted the series that I really enjoyed, and I'm glad they are going to explain the first episode, and not just ignore it for a while. NExt weeks episode looks awesome.

Although, I wish they'd have a new slightly longer arc, like 2 or 3 episodes with one of the big enemies, like the Daleks or Cybermen.

That is my one criticism of this series. The foreshadowing to the final episode has been a lot more heavy in this episode than in any of the series' since the reboot. Because of this I've found myself wanting to get to the last episode a lot more than I would have done and not enjoying the stand alone episodes as much.

I think whole Dalek episodes were. But by the look of the trailer, it was half destroyed. Obviously not an army or anything like that. Not exactly the focus of the episode!

Tomb of the Cybermen is quite possibly one of my favourite Who serials, good call sir! I was surprised how well it held up considering how old it is. Then again, Patrick Troughton is my second favourite Doctor so that helps.

The problem with the modern Cybermen is that the writers don't seem to know how to use them effectively. They are meant to be cold and logical automatons and a worthy adversary for the Doctor but the new series only ever seems to depict them as a minor irritation. They should be at their most threatening when they are cornered and damaged. The new "Cybus Industries" Cybermen seemed to more or less wipe from everyone's minds that the Cybermen were actually a race of organic humanoids once upon a time. What happened to them was their own doing, a process that was created by their own instinct of self preservation that eventually cost them their humanity. To me, that's the scariest part about them.
