I would but Doctor Who is an awful TV show, in my opinion.

Why do you hate it so much?

Doctor Who is a BBC institution, like Blue Peter, TV wouldn't be the same without it. It's also inherently enjoyable. With a few rare exceptions (*cough*Love and Monsters *cough*) even its worst episodes are at least cheesy fun. At its best (Blink, Empty Child/Doctor Dances) its the quintessential family show. At times it gets a bit too kiddy rather than family, compare Pixar to Disney, but its still at least amusing.

And it gave us Daleks. One of the most iconic villains of sci-fi and something that has remained utterly terrifying for nearly 40 years. Forget Xenomorphs, Terminators, Bugs, Prawns, Reavers, Predators and the rest, Doctor Who makes the monsters to be scared of.

Edit: To summarise: Yes, sometimes it's crap. But that doesn't matter because it's AWESOME.

Sometimes they have Daleks, until the Doctor wipes them out. For a little while, then they're back in full force.

I thought it was brilliant and I thought it was actually pretty damn good, even if it can't beat Journey's End. David Tennant also got me so jazzed, he was amazing, I actually cried a little.

Actually kind of looking forward to the new Series although I was a bit saddened to see the Daleks in there.

I must admit I cried a little...But I was bawling up inside, I really love the show, so much and I just hope the new doctor isn't a fail, he seems alright if a not bit too hyperactive IMO.

Still, I want to know what they'll do with some of the links they've put in the last series. -Too tired to list some- (And since it is a new team, if they will even use them.)

They did look slightly different though. As did everything else. Which is exactly the problem.

They're changing everything else, and with the departure of RTD comes the departure of the characters we've met over the past 5 (?) years. He said as much in the confidential.

Looking at the trailer, it just doesn't seem like Doctor Who.

I think he did a much better job in his first appearance than in these last 2 episodes, but then thoughs episodes where much better written.

I never noticed any differences with the Daleks but everything does look a lot different, I'm not really sure if I like it but it is interesting.

I just hope they don't use this as an excuse to undermine RTD did for the show or destroy the continuity they've got in place now because that would be a disaster and would just derail the show completely.
