Nuclear Radiation is more serious than X-ray radiation (forgot the exactly name) if they fired nuclear radiation at you to get an X-ray you'd be stone dead. Plus nuclear radiation hangs about for aaaaaaaaaaaaaages... Take Chernobyl for example.

But yeah, great episode looking forward to the next series

Amen to that. Also in the trailer, there was about 5 frames of a Weeping Angel. Please dont let them come back as they were great for a 1 off but I doubt it would work a second time around.

I saw that trailer on BBC 3 after it finished on BBC 1 (yeah, I watched Confidential) and I didn't see her. Good spot by Tranka Verrane. And was it me or did the Daleks look redesigned and shinier? And that pistol bit surprised me too.

But anyway, only caught the last 30 minutes of it and found it good.
Can't wait for Matt Smith now.

I thought they were a greenish colour, maybe camo. I'm probably horribly wrong though.

And it gave us Daleks. One of the most iconic villains of sci-fi and something that has remained utterly terrifying for nearly 40 years. Forget Xenomorphs, Terminators, Bugs, Prawns, Reavers, Predators and the rest, Doctor Who makes the monsters to be scared of.

Edit: To summarise: Yes, sometimes it's crap. But that doesn't matter because it's AWESOME.

I like Dr. Who, and while I admire its an alien that doesn't look like a guy with a rubber forehead, the Dalek's are hardly scary. In fact, any bad guy who runs around yelling "Exterminate! EXTERMINATE!" is more silly then scary. Oh, and they have plunger hands.

And i'm not too sure on this new guy. From his brief 20 seconds he just sounded like was trying to imitate david. Hopefully i will be proved wrong and he will bring his own flavour to the character of the Doctor.

No, we can accept many shows are better than Who (though possibly not aimed at that age audience, namely 12 and under). The Wire, The West Wing, The Singing Detective, South Park, even Buffy, to name but a few off the top of my head. But Supernatural? Give us a break.
