I don't really care about Australia but the fact that they're abusing animals is unacceptable.
Why are people getting mad about this? I really really don't see what the problem is. I see a roo beating the bloody red crap out of a clown. I would pay DAMN good money to see that. I don't see it as humiliating either. Not even in an "Awww he thinks he's people" way. Even if it was humiliating do you think the roo knows it? No, he's beating up a clown. Hell, screw wanting to be at the show. I want to be that kangaroo.

In the end, it's not getting hurt, embarrassed, or otherwise mistreated in any way that I can see. He's dishing it out, not taking it. Off the ring he's probably treated like a king. The only thing in that ring I'm concerned about is the clown. Actually, you know what? Fuck clowns. Go roo.

I'm not saying all Texans are bad. I have friends and relatives in Texas. I just don't like the state itself. I'm not saying everyone in Texas follows the stereotype, it's just that the stereotype of Texas is a very, very bad one.
So why do you believe the stereotype? Why should it matter that Texas has a stereotype. ow many "stereotypical" Texans do you see? Short of someone acting stereotypical for laughs, I never see anyone who "acts" like a "Texan". You know, I may just not be exposed enough (living in an average American suburb) to rural Texans, except that I used to live in the middle of nowhere in Southeast Texas and visit central nowhere fairly regularly and I have yet to actually see someone play the Texas stereotype straight.

To be honest, mine was a sarcastic "Hur Texas". This shit happens all over the world.
Slightly better, but I still find it annoying that Texas is an acceptable target.

This is a disgrace. This is revolting. This is terrible. I don't know what was wrong with the people who organized such a thing, but it infuriates me to new levels. I gotta go take a walk now and blow some steam out, so angry this made me.

Somebody sue these guys, even if it's the smallest thing they do deserve.

Well, I sure as hell wouldn't be happy if they took an Eagle and did something stupid to it. That's just cruel what they did to that kangaroo.

I don't believe it. I hate stereotypes. I judge people based on their own merits. I judge Texas based on it's collective successes and mistakes. The Texas Collective has made more mistakes than successes in my book. I don't hate everyone in Texas, but I don't like what apparently are the ideals of the majority of the state.
So you have preconceived notions of Texas? That's a stereotype.

Yea that actually disgusts me. I know it seems to be fine when people mention bear wrestling, but still. I felt so bad when the article said that the kangaroo tried to leave, and they forced it to stay.

I HATEZ TEH WORLDZ!!!!1!!1!

I do sincerely feel sorry for that kangaroo. If I were watching that I'd be inclined to stage a breakout for the pair of roos that are being held there.

Actually he was born in Massachusetts. People simply tie him to Texas because of his father and the fact that he currently lives there.

You wanted a stereotypical Texan and I gave you one.
It doesn't matter where he was born and went to school. He lives in Texas.
So if he moved to where you lived, he would become a stereotype of your location?
