For the record I wasn't attacking the people of Texas. I'm saying that there are some questionable laws in Texas. That's all, the same can be said of any state it's just this particular incident really doesn't have a law that prevents it or can fine the person behind it even though it's quite clear that the animal is being abused inside the ring to many witnesses. Again, if the kangaroo was not restrained I'd have no qualms with this and I'm sure no one else would have either.

That's really all I had to say, I never once meant to attack the Texan people. That one bit about the lack of good things was a joke.

Then why bring Texas up at all? If this had happened in California, would you have pointed out that it was California? Probably not. But because it's Texas, it's worth mentioning.

Fair enough, I'll look into the states that allow this to happen and if I find even one state other than Texas. I will rescind my previous comment.

They tried to do something "cute". They had no intention of hurting the animal, I'm sure. Precautions and other steps where probably taken to insure it's safety.
