I don't touch drugs, but if people want to do them, that's their choice. Freedom to live.

That said, I get pissed off when tax money is wasted on attempting to rehabilitate addicts that have no intention whatsoever of quitting. I knew (vaguely) a couple addicted to heroin...they just saw the rehab program as free methadone, really easy to fake that you're trying really hard to quit but then just shoot up the next day. Why would anyone want to pay for these smackheads?

I guess that's the more extreme end of the scale. It genuinely doesn't bother me if people do cannabis.
Rather pay for their methadone than their prison cells.
I just don't see how a lesson is being learned either way. Prison's a walk and methadone is just a legal fix. There's no easy solution I guess.

Unfortunately, for such an off-topic discussion as this, the parameters of endeavor must be set by the party in the first part (and naturally judged as helpful and/or situationally useful), so as to enable the utilization of proper response and avoid overtaxation of the facilities of those willing and otherwise able to respond. As the Japanese say, "Watashi ga saru ni zubon wo nusumareta," and with these words of wisdom in mind, I'd recommend the creation of a set of guidelines, or "statement" if you will, that will elucidate the expectations set forth by the initial expression (or lack thereof) of this particular caucus on the subject of biological remedies intended for the treatment of boredom and indeed all of life. In doing so, the facilitation of further congress will surely lead all involved to attain a greater degree of enlightenment, and thus establish the basis for a new arrangement of world conclave that will surely benefit from the intelligent conversation the aforementioned masses can bring to the metaphorical table of human interaction and convention.

The president has been kidnapped by weasels. Are you a savvy enough dude to save him?

Mr. Hicks says it best.
What about the people who take drugs that aren't musical geniuses?

Drugs are bad (meaning substances created by man), Herbs on the other hand is nothing but good (meaning things that grow naturally and isnt created by man).

So speaking in a purely medical term: Weed is better for you than any medication is that combats the same things.

But, if weed was legal then it wouldnt be as simple for the government to rake in billions each year selling medication over the counter...

Are you talking about the ones that swan dive into the asphalt because they think they can fly?

GOOD! Get rid of them. It's survival of the fittest. It's sad for someone, I'm sure, but in the end, hey, we're all going to die. If it was me, well, tough shit, huh? That sucks.

I've spent time in college with people who weren't musical geniuses. They did some shrooms, LSD, smoked pot, whatever. Went on to lead productive lives. They're fine. Tried it, had fun, then they're done.

Hell, I used to smoke weed. Didn't like it. Quit. Does that mean I'm damaged for life? Fucked over? Nope, sure doesn't.

You mistake the message. That is one example of drugs doing good things for society, when many would have you believe that drugs are entirely bad. Open your eyes. Good things have come from drugs. That's not to say everyone should just do everything now, but to deny any positive effects is ludicrous.

A completely empty post with that title is either some of the best meta-humor I've seen on this board or a hilariously ironic mistake.

I'm going to completely misinterpret the statement and argue with the straw man of someone wanting to ban antibiotics and otc painkillers. Who's with me?

Can you pop marijuana seeds like you do pop-corn? Is there any strain with with a hard enough kernel for the steam to build up sufficiently?

I like cupcakes.

Drugs in no way are actually going to improve your quality of life they are only there for an escape from reality just like video games are.

I would say that you can only have the option to say drugs are bad if you have even experimented or at least tried them.

Personally, in my opinion drugs are awesome if you want to kill the extreme boredom you might have and use up the extra cash in your walet... However drugs are bad if you intend to wake up and go to work in the morning or need to make something like a bingo match interesting... Stuff like that is what alcohol is for! XD
