Ok, I laughed. Mostly because I had no idea what the fuck I was watching and the only response my brain could come up with was laughing out of sheer confusion at something so stupidly over the top, though some bits I thought kind of funny.
What I actually like the most about this is that in a 3:30 long commercial for Madden '15 you learn pretty much nothing about the game itself except "it's this years American football game". Then again, knowing EA and its sports franchises, there just might not be anything there to sell the game beyond that, nor is there actually any need to.

I love the advert. It's stupid, it's explosive, it's competitive, it's OTT. It's everything I would want to see in an American Football game.

Can I assume a whole bunch of those people were NFL players? Im going to, because it makes sense to me, given the handful of actors I did recognise.
Actually pretty engaging as an attention grabbing hook. I dont care for Madden, but I wanted to sit through the whole thing, knowing it was a Madden ad.

That is one of the greatest commercials I have seen come out of the west in a long time... No I have not checked my sanity at the door, but these people surely have. It is dumb, over the top, and completely devoid of anything tying it to reality, which by default beats most commercials, as they usually try to sell you of something by saying something along the lines of "This could be you." This doesn't have that, it has neither the patience nor the rational to sit down and win you over by lying. It just is.

I really have nothing to say about the EA ad. It was trying too hard, if you ask me.
Thought it was pretty good marketing a bit long maybe but its crazy enough to get you involved and most importantly it dosent focus on the game just showing a few brief clips but focuses on building hype for the sport which they have a game for.
I was expecting them to keep all gameplay out of the advert (if they were smart) and I wasnt to dissapointed. Theres not a lot to say about the game really basically its what you have played before for years so the smart thing would be to not focus on the game but make it a fun and interesting advert that has your game attached in some way and thats what they did so although I despise EA I thought it was a good advert and I wish more were like it.

I couldnt watch past 1:19, the stupid was to much for me. Anyway what little I watched makes me suspect that this commercial is just trying to paint the players in a similar light as extreme sports fans. I mean really those people are freaking crazy as is this advertisement
I agree. I thought it was great ad it is definitely the most memorable thing relating to Madden for me. I could care less about the franchise, but I'll remember this so I give kudos to the advertising department.Maximum Bert said:

The bits with Kevin Hart singing and slapping Dave Franco had me rolling. Then at the end when Kevin's staring at Dave.

That was...I mean...that was the single most amazing thing ever. Dave Franco getting slapped. Dave Franco getting tackled. The weird ass lyrics. The look on Kevin Hart's face when Franco starts rapping.
