Elder Scrolls Mmo yet another Franchise ruined

First Kotor and now Elder scrolls, Anyone who sees this as a good thing is dead wrong Immersion gone. You think you are going to be able to steal from other players, probably not. Just what I need another ruined Franchise.

Eh, this has been in development for 5 years, completely separately from Bethesda Game Studios' work on the franchise. It's not a big deal

What's better is that they have a DAoC guy heading the project, though using HeroEngine bothers me.

Multiplayer is against everything TES stands for. Not to mention an MMO.
I seriously fear for the future of this series. Next thing we know TES VI will have competitive multiplayer... Oh Azura, have mercy.

It makes me physically sick to think of an Elder Scrolls mmo. Doesn't matter how the game works, the Elder Scrolls is a single-player series. I'd accept a co-op ability, but anything beyond that is just sickening.

It isn't made by Bethesda so it won't interfere with their TES plans in the future. I don't see a problem with this.

The Elder Scrolls games kind of feel like single-player MMORPGs already. I would say that an MMORPG is a natural fit for the series.

Everybody who is jumping on the hate wagon because Howard & Co. aren't developing need to remember that those guys have no experience developing MMOs. They will continue to develop fantastic (hopefully) single player TES games and a new team with some MMO experience will handle the TES MMO. This is a good thing.
