Oh yes, the land where necromancy actually exists and magic isn't just the same effect with more numbers would be nice, too.

Better magic, more weapons, more skills, more EVERYTHING!

I think they should just rip off some of the more interesting WoW zones. Or pull a FC2/RE4 and go to africa. What place could have vampires, beastie stuff, assassins, wizards etc. and still be fresh for the gaming community?

Elsewyr and Black Marsh together as one game, or Hammerfell by itself with a possible Thras expansion. Either way, lots of seafaring stuff and a serious desert where you can see for miles and miles over the dunes. (Or well, considering the scale of Elder Scrolls games, A mile. :p)

Either that or Cyrodil as it should have been, a massive jungle with huge ziggurat cities and whatnot. They really pussied out with Oblivion and the generic medieval fantasy crap.

K, I admit to not knowing too much about the elder scrolls world, so I'll say it should take place in a time that resembles colonization era europe. That way there could be a great amount of familiar ground in the kingdoms, while going out to explore the colonies could provide you with a lot of new enviroments to explore, which they were very lacking in Oblivion. Also, there would be room for more advanced technology, and the plot could revole around the conflict between the old magic and new tech. Depending on which skills you use affects the overall storyline, not to mention it would greatly expand your choices in regards to tactics in battle. Anyway, them's is my thoughts!

I would like to see...a place with weather conditions and places that make sense. In Oblibion, I remember seeing the city in the north...how does it rain out the doors when in the doors it's snowing?
Anyway, all of Tamriel and maybe they discover a continent of...chicken people, I don't know. So more than Tamriel, maybe the entire world of oblivion, on PS3 with three Blu-ray discs.

Akavir has enough races to fill you to your heart's content:

Kamal- a demonlike race

Tsaesci- golden snake people

Tang Mo- various breeds of monkeys

Ka Po' Tun- tigerlike people that can become dragons (though there's only one recorded)

It's interesting that you said that. I'd consider myself a bit of an elder scrolls lore buff(sad, I know) and I read an account about a bird-like humanoid race in one of the books in Oblivion. I can't remember which book it was but it was about that legendary high elf explorer of ancient times.

The bird-people were encountered where the current Imperial city is, before humans even came to Tamriel. It's said that these bird-people are extinct too.

All of Tamriel. Dunno why people keep saying Skyrim. Talk about trying to set up Bethesda to paint one palette color. That'll be boring as hell.

I don't really care where it goes, as long as they fix some extremely valid flaws that were rampant in Oblivion:

I mean, look at the Dark Brotherhood: It was only fun cuz you could kill people and run from guards and stuff, but once you finish the questline, you don't get to do that anymore! WTF? It should just like randomly generate and NPC and then have you go kill them or something! The only thing I do in my file now is just run around from camp to camp killing bandits. The Thieves Guild had the same problem. Some people have said to me you're supposed to "do your own looting", but that doesn't get any reward other than some gold I don't need because I exploited the vampirism cure reward glitch before they patched it (don't judge me lol)

I mean really, once you get to the top of a guild (which, depending on how bored you are at the moment, could take all of 3 hours), you're basically out of the guild! Does anyone agree or, if you disagree, why? I've had people tell me that this is an invalid point, but without really explaining themselves.

It's supposed to take place in Skyrim.

I'd love to see it in the realms of Oblivion. Like you go to every Deadric Lord's realm.
